84 Mr. Cathcart served at the capture of Martinique in 1809, and Guadaloupe in 1810, I
for which he has received the War Medal with two Clasps. Also throughout the Burmese war,
and was present in almost every action and storming party during the war.
85 Mr. Coombe served in the Peninsula and has received the War Medal with three Clasps
for Talavera, Busaco, and Puentes d’Onor.
87 Mr. Cuddy served at the capture of Martinique in 1809 for which he has received the War
Medal with one Clasp.
88 Mr. Cunningham served the campaigns of 1813 and 14 in Upper Canada, under Sir
Gordon Drummond.
89 Doctor Daunt served at the capture of Madeira in 1807 ; of Martinique in 1809 (for which
he has received the War Medal with one Clasp) ; and of Arracan in 1825.
90 Mr. Davidson served with the 50th in the battle of Punniar (Medal). Also the campaign
on the Sutlej (Medal), including the battles of Moodkee and Perozeshah.
91 Mr. D. O. Davies served in the Peninsula from June 1810 to the end of that war in 1814,
including the defence of Cadiz and Tarifa ; battles of Barrosa, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle, and
Nive ; actions at St. Palais, Aire, and Tarbes ; battles of Orthes and Toulouse. Served also
at the attack on New Orleans.
92 Mr. Dealey served in the Peninsula in 1811 and 1812, and was present at the battle of
Albuhera, and first siege of Badajoz.
93 Mr. Este served the Egyptian campaign of 1801 (Medal), including the actions of the 8th
(slightly wounded), 13th, and 21st March, and siege of Alexandria. Served also in the Peninsula
from Oct. 1812 to the end of that war in 1814, including the battles of Vittoria, Pampeluna,
Orthes, and Toulouse. He has received the War Medal with two Clasps.
94 Mr. John Ferguson served the campaigns of 1813 and 14 in Canada ; was engaged in an
action on Lake Ontario and Lake Huron ; also in the action of Michilinacbnar.
95 Mr. Fitzpatrick served in the Peninsula and has received the War Medal with nine Clasps
for Roleia, Vimiera, Talavera, Busaco, Fuentes d’Onor, Albuhera, Ciudad Kodrigo, Badajoz, and
Salamanca.
96 Mr. Fletcher has received the War Medal with one Clasp for the battle of Maida.
97 Doctor John Foster served the campaign of 1814 in Holland.
98 Mr. Peter Fraser served in the American war, and was present at the capture of Oswego.
99 Doctor Galeani joined the army in Sicily, in 1812, and was employed in the field until
landed at Leghorn, 14th March 1814. Present in the campaign of Italy with the advanced
army, including the taking of the Castle of St. Maria, in Spezia, action at Seshi, siege and sur- I
render of Genoa, and taking of the castle of Savona and Novi.
100 Mr. Gilder served the Waterloo campaign with the Grenadier Guards.
101 Mr. M. Griffith served in the Peninsula from Jan. 1810 to the end of that war in 1814,
including the battles of Busaco and Fuentes d’Onor, siege and assault of Ciudad Rodrigo, siege
and assault of Badajoz, battles of Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive, and Orthes, I
action at Vic Bigorre (wounded), and battle of Toulouse. Served also in India, Arabia, and
the Burmese empire, from May 1818, including sieges of Asseerghur, Ras-el-Kyma, and Zaia,
siege and assault of Dwarka, affair of Beni-Boo-Ali, assault of a fortress on the banks of the !
Pegu river, assault of Syrian Pagoda, siege of Donabew, and battle near Prome. He has
received the War Medal with nine Clasps.
102 Doctor Hair’s services :—Peninsular campaigns from Nov. 1812 to the end of that war in
1814, including the battle of Vittoria, siege of San Sebastian in August and Sept. 1813, battles
of the Nivelle, Nive, and Orthes, and the affairs of Vera. Subsequently in the action in front
of New Orleans, and, finally, at the capture of Paris. He has received the War Medal with
five Clasps.
103 Mr. Harthill served with the 9th throughout the campaign of 1842 in Affghanistan (Medal)
under General Pollock.
104 Doctor Henderson served in the Peninsula, and was present at the siege of Badajoz, and
both the actions of Salamanca, 18th and 22nd July 1812. He has received the War Medal with
two Clasps.
105 Mr. Hichens served the Waterloo campaign.
106 Mr. Hogg served in the Peninsula and has received the War Medal with one Clasp for
the Nive.
107 Mr. Hutchesson served in the Peninsula and has received the War Medal with one Clasp
for Corunna.
108 Doctor Ingham served in the American war, and was present at the battles of Fort
George, Chippewa, and at the Falls of Niagara.
109 Sir Edward Johnson served in the Peninsula and has received the War Medal with one
Clasp for Corunna.
110 Doctor Jones (h. p. 1st Dr. Gds.) served at Copenhagen in 1807 ; in the Peninsula under
Sir John Moore ; and subsequently at Walcheren.
111 Mr. Leonard served in the Peninsula from May 1811 to Sept. 1814.
112 Mr. John Lewis served with the expedition to Ostend under Sir Eyre_Cootc in ^798 ;
