^ Lt.-Col. Cochrane served at
the capture of Martinique, and
Les Saintes in 1809, and Guada-
loupe in 1810, and also in 1815.
5 Major Kelson served with
the late 103rd in the American
war, and was present in the
action of Lundy's Lane, at the
storming of Fort Erie on the
morning of the 15th Aug. 1814,
and at the repulse of the sortie
on tlie 9th Sept, following.
6 Capt. Lillie served in the
Peninsulafrom Dec. 1812 to the
end of the war, including the
crossing of the Zadino; battle of
Vittoria ; blockade of Pampe-
luna from 5th to 18th July ;
pass ofRoncesvalles, 28th July,
battle of Pampeluna, 28th July,
Nivelle, Nive (9th to 13th Dec.)
Orthes(severely wounded), and
Toulouse. Present at Water¬
loo on the 18th June, and at the
storming of Cambray. He has
received the War Medal and
six clarps. He commanded a
detachment, consisting of 200
of the 15th Regiment and Cey¬
lon Rifles, in defeating the
insurgents at Matole on the
29ih July, during the suppres¬
sion of the rebellion in the
Kandian Provinces in 1848.
1 Lt.-Col. Brayhrooke served at the capture of the Kandian territories in 1815, and in the Kandian rebellion in 1817 and 18.
2 Lieut .Col. Simmonds served in the Peninsula from Feb. 18(18 to Feb. 1818, including the affairs of Talavera and Alberche,
battles of Talavera, Bnsaco, and Albuhera; covering the siege of Badajoz in 1812, engaged every day during the retreat from
Madrid and Salamanca; the retreat to Portugal, and subsequent pursuit of Massenafrom the lines, besides several minor affairs.
He has received the War Medal and three clasps.
8 Captain Watson served the campaigns of 1814 and 15 in Holland and the Netherlands, including the actions at
Merxem, and bombardment of Antwerp.
10 Lieut. Stewart was present with the
M
Buffs ” in the battle of Punniar, and has received the Bronxe Star.
