2 Lt.-Col. Paynter served with the 24th in the Punjaub carnpaigu, and was dangerously wounded at the battle of Chillian-
wallah (Medal).
4 Lt.-Colonel Blachford served with the 24th in the Puujaub campaign (Medal), and succeeded to the command at the
battle of Chillianwallah : he was afterwards present at the battle of Goojerat.
5 Major Brown served in the Punjaub campaign, and was wounded in the battle of Chillianwallah (Medal).
6 Captains Bazalgette, Macpherson, and Croker, and Lieut. Thelwall, served in the Punjaub campaign, and were severely
wounded at the battle of Chillianwallah (Medal).
7 Captain Williams was dangerously wounded at Chillianwallah (Medal).
8 Lieuts. Berry and Hartshorn were slightly wounded at Chillianwallah (Medal).
