141 Captain Morgan services . — Expedition to Walcheren, and bombardment of Flush¬
ing; Peninsular campaigns from April 1812 to the end of the war in 1814, including the
siege of Cadiz, battles of the Pyrenees, siege of San Sebastian (severely wounded), and
battle of Toulouse.
142 Captain Warde was present at the siege of Cadiz and at Waterloo.
143 Captain Ingilby served in the Peninsula from July 1810 to Jan. 1813, including the
sieges of Ciudad Rodrigo, Forts of Salamanca (wounded), and Burgos; and the battles
of Busaco, Fuentes d’Onor, and Salamanca. Served also the campaign of 1815, and was
present at the battle of Waterloo.
144 Captain Cater served in the Peninsula from April 1810, to Jan. 1814, including the
siege of Cadiz. Served also the campaign of 1815, including the battle of Waterloo, and
taking of Cambray and Paris.
145 Captain Pester was present at the siege of Cadiz, and at the battle of Barrosa, where
he was severely wounded.
146 Captain Stanway served in the Peninsula and France from Feb. 1812 to July 1814,
including the siege of San Sebastian, and passages of the Bidassoa and Adour.
147 Captain Story served in the Peninsula and France from Nov. 1812 to May 1814,
including the siege of San Sebastian, and passages of the Bidassoa and Adour.
150 Captain James served in the Peninsula and France, from October, 1812, to April, 1814,
including the battles of Vittoria, the Pyrenees, Nivelle, and Orthes. Served subsequently
in the American War.
152 Captain Bloomfield served in the Peninsula and France, from March, 1813, to June,
1814, including the battle of Yittoria, siege of San Sebastian, crossing the Bidassoa, and battles
of the Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, and Toulouse. Served also the campaign of 1815, including
the battle of Waterloo.
153 Captain Trevor served the campaign of 1814 in Holland. Also the campaign of
1815, including the battle of Waterloo and subsequent operations in France.
155 Captain Palliser served in the Peninsula and France, from November, 1812, to May,
1814, including the siege of San Sebastian, and battles of Vittoria, Orthes, and Toulouse.
Served subsequently in the American War, including the battles of Bladensburg, and
Baltimore, and operations before New Orleans.
156 Major Macbean served in the Peninsula and France, from July, 1812, to August,
1814, including the affair at Osma, battle of Yittoria, both sieges of San Sebastian and
capture of it; passage of the Nivelle 10th November, and actions of tiie Nive, 9th, 10th,
11th, and 12th December, 1813. Served also the campaign of 1815, including the capture
of Paris. Served afterwards with the army of occupation until 1818.
158 Captain Dickens served in Holland in 1813 and 14, including the attack on Merxem,
and the cannonade against the enemy’s ships of war in the basin at Antwerp.
159 Captain Tomkyns served the campaign of 1814 in Canada, including the actions near
Fort George, and Lundy’s Lane ; blockade, attack, and final assault of Fort Erie, and
attack by the American army on the British lines on the Chippawa River.
160 Captain Williams was engaged in the actions before New Orleans, and at the capture
of Fort Bowyer. Served also the campaign of 1815, and was present at the capture
of Paris.
161 Captain Morgan served in the Peninsula and France from October, 1813, to June,
1814, including the passage of the Adour, and battle of Toulouse. Served the campaign of
1814 in Canada, under Sir George Prevost.
162 Captain R. G. B. Wilson served in Holland, Belgium, and France, from December,
1813, to January, 1816, including the battles of Quatre Bras and Waterloo.
163 Captain Cuppage served in the Peninsula and France, from Februaryto August, 1814,
and was present at the repulse of the sortie from Bayonne. Served also the campaign of
1815, including the battle of Waterloo.
164 Captain Burnaby served the campaign of 1815, including the battle of Waterloo.
165 Captain Griffin served before Genoa in 1814.
166 Captain Basset was employed in raising the siege of Bilboa, 25th December, 1836.
Present in the field actions on the 10th, 12th, 14th, 15th, and 16th March; attack and
carrying by assault the town of Hernani, 12th May; and capitulation of the town of Fon-
tarabia, 17 th May, 1837.
167 Lieut. Warburton served with the Royal Artillery on the north coast of Spain from
Feb. 1837 to Oct. 1838, and was wounded on the 15th March 1837, near Hernani.
