1 Sir Henry Bayly served in Flanders: was present at the battle of Famars; the siege of Valenciennes,
and was wounded at Lincelles. Sir Henry served also in Holland in 1799. Proceeded to the South of
France in 1814, in command of the Brigade composed of the three provisional battalions of militia.
2 Col. Ball served in the Peninsula from June 1809 to Nov. 1813, including Busaco, Albuhera, Arroyo de
Molino, Almaraz, Vittoria (wounded in the head), Maya (severely wounded in the left leg), in the Pyrenees,
and siege of Badajoz in May 1811.
3 Captain Gardiner served the campaigns of 1812, 13, & 14, in the Peninsula.
4 Dr. Fraser served in the American war, and was at the capture of Oswego.
