1 Sir 'William Lumley was severely wounded through the ankle joint at Antrim, 7th June, 1798, and pre¬
served the town from being burnt by the rebels. Sir William commanded the 22d Dragoons in Egypt; ac¬
companied the expedition from the Cape to South America, and has received a medal for Albuhera.
2 Col. Ratcliffe served in the Peninsula from June 1811 to the end of the war, including the battles of
Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, and Toulouse.
8 Quarter-Master M' Dowell received a severe sabre wound in the head on the 18th June at Waterloo.
4 Dr. Daunt served at the capture of Madeira in 1807, and of Martinique in 1809. Served also in the
Burmese war.
