8 Capt. Barnes served the Sutlej campaign of 1845-6 (Medal and one Clasp), including the battles
of Moodkee and Ferozeshah (severely wounded). Served also during the latter part of the siege of Sebas-
topol (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
9 Captain Hardinge served with tlie 39th Regt. in the battle of Maharajpore (Medal).
10 Major Tupper served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including tlie battles of Alma and Inkerman,
siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, Brevet of Major, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish
Medal).
11 Captain Antrobus served the Eastern campaign of 1854-65, including the battles of Alma and
Inkerman, and siege of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, 5th Class of the M^djidie, and Turkish Medal).
12 Captaiu Thompson served the Sutlej campaign of 1845-6, and was present at the battles of .Moodkee,
Ferozeshah, Aliwal, and Sobraon: was wounded by the explosion of a gun limber at Ferozeshah, and
very severely wounded by grape-shot in right breast at Sobraon (Medal and three Clasps). Served the
Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, and siege of Sebastopol
(Medal and Clasps, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
13 Captain Clarke served the Eastern campaign until severely wounded and taken prisoner in a sortie
on the trenches before Sebastopol, 21st Dec. 18.54,having been present at the battlesof Alma and Inkerman
(Medal and Clasps, Sardinian and Turkish Medals, and 5th Class of the Medjidie).
14 Captains Fyler and Nowlan served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma
and Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
18 Captain Boran served at the siege of Sebastopol from 22nd Nov. J8i)4 (Medal and Clasp, and Turk¬
ish Medal).
19 Lieut. Lee served at the siege of Sebastopol from 2nd Dec. 1854 (Medal and Clasp, 5th Class of the
Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
20 Lieut. Johnson served at the siege of Sebastopol from 16th June 1855 (Medal and Clasp, and Turk¬
ish Medal).
23 Assist.Surgeon Davis served at the siege of Sebastopol from Jan. 1805 (Medal and Clasp, and Turk¬
ish Medal).
25 Quartermaster Turner served with the 50th Regt. at the battle of Punniar, 29th Dec. 1843 (Medal).
Also the Sutlej campaign of 1845-46, including the battles of Moodkee, Ferozeshah, Aliwal, and Sobraon
(Medal and three Clasps). Served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, and was present at the battles of
Alma and Inkerman, and during the whole siege and fall of Sebastopoi (Medal and Clasps, and Turkish
Medal).

capture of Kittoor in the Dooab, in Dec. 1824. Served also throughout the whole of the campnifrn in Alfglianlstan
under Lord Kcane; present at the capture of the fortress of Ghuznee, 23rd July 13.19, upon which occasion he was
appointed KCB.; and while in command of the Bombay column of the array of the Indus he captured the fortress of
Khelat on the 1.1tli Nov. following,for which service he was created a Baronet. Has received the Silver War Medal with
seven Clasps; also First Class Dooran^e Empire.
2 Colonel Errington served with the 51st during the war in Burmah from April to Dec. 1852;
was on board the E. I. C. steam sloop Scsostrix during the naval action and destruction of the enemy's
stockades on the Rangoon River; served during the succeeding three days' operations in the vicinity, and
commanded the Regiment at the storm and capture of Rangoon: he also commanded the troops engaged
at the assault and capture of Bassein, 19th May (wounded), and received the especial approbation of the
Governor General in Council for his services upon this occasion (Medal and Clasp, and Brevet Lt.Colonel).
4 Major Dickson served with the 61st in Burmah from Feb. 1853 to the end of the war, and was present
with Captain Irby's Detachment of four Companies with Brigadier General Cheape's force until shortly
before the capture of Myattoon's stronghold, when he was left in command of a Detachment to protect
the sick and wounded of the force (Medal and Clasp).
5 Major Agg served with the 51st throughout the Burmese war of 1852-53; on board the E. I. C.
steam frigate Ferooz during the naval action and destruction of the enemy's stockades on the Rangoon
River ; served during the succeeding three days' operations in the vicinity (including the storming of the
White House Redoubt), and at the storm and capture of Rangoon ; also at the assault and capture of Bassein,
19th May (Medal and Clasp).
6 Capt. Madden served with the 61st throughout the Burmese war of 1862-63: on board the E. I. C.
steam sloop Sesostris during the naval action and destruction of the enemy's stockades on the Rangoon
River; served during the succeeding three days' operations in the vicinity (including the storming of the
White House Redoubt), and at the storm and capture of Rangoon ; also at the assault and capture of Bassein
19tli May (Medal and Clasp).
11 Captain Reed served as Aide de Camp to General Reed when he commanded at the siege of Delhi, .and
was present in all the actions that took place there from the 8th June to 17th July 1857, and volunteered
afterwards to serve with the 61st Regt. before Delhi (Medal and Clasp).
12 Captain Sonter served in the Bulls in the action of Tunniar 29tli Dec. 1843 (Medal). Served with the 8th
Regt. at the siege of Delhi in 1857, including repulse of Sorties on the 14th, 18th, and 23d July (Medal and
Clasp).
13 Captain MacQueen was engaged with the Mutineers near Cawnpore on the 2nth and 27th Nov., and
commanded a company of the ;Hth Regt. at the defence of Cawnpore from 28ih Nov. to 24th Dec. 18.W.
Served with the 1st Battalion HOth Rides the c:impaign in Hohilcund in 185i, including the actions of
Bugawalla and Nugena, relief of Moradabad, action on the Dojura, assault and capture of Bareilly, attack
and bombardment of Shahjehanpore deteat of the rebels and relief ot the garrison, capture of the fort of
Bnnnai, pursuit of the enemy to the left bank of the Goomtee, and destruction of the fort of Mahomdee,
attack on and capture of Shahabad, and action of Bunkagong; Oude campaign, including the action of
Rissoolpore, attack and capture of Fort Mittowlie where he succeeded to the command of the 1st
Battalion (Medal).
