5 Major Koberls served throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-.5.">, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, siega
and fall of Sebastopol, and affair in the Cemetery on the 18th June (Medal and three Clasps, Brevet of Major, Kniglit of
the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the Medjidic, and Turkish Medal). Commanded a detachment of 500 men of the 28th
Regt. against the Waghers with the Okamundel field force in 1859, including the assault on the fort of Beyt on the 8th
Oct., and siege and occupation of Dwarka; commanded the reconnaissance on Dwarka from Lt.Col. Donovan's force, cou-
sisting of 8 Held pieces and 150 men, on the 26th Oct. 1859.
6 Captain Messiter served throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman,
siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, Sardinian and Turkish Medals, and 5th Class of the Medjidie). Also against
the Waghers with the Okamundol field force in 1859, including the assault on the fort of Beyt on 8th Oct., with the siege
reconnaissance and occupation of Dwarka.
7 Captain Shute served the Eastern campaign until S5th Jan, 1855, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, and
siege of Sebastopol (Medal and three Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
8 Captain Hackett served throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55 as Adjutant of the 28th Regt., including the battles
of Alma and Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol, and affair in the Cemetery (Medal and three Clasps, 5lli Class of the
Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
9 Captain Williams served throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman,
siege and fall of Sebastopol, and affair in the Cemetery. Served in Turkey from Feb. 1856 as Aide de Camp to Major
General Smith,Commanding Osmanli IiTegular Cavalry, until the disbandment of tliat force (Medal with three Clasps, 4tli
Class of the Me(\jidie, Turkish Medal, and Lt.Col. Turkish Army).
10 Captain Turner, Lieuts. Angelo and Adams, served in the Crimea from Aug. 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol
(Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
11 Captain Morgan served the Eastern campaign up to 17th June 18.55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman,
and siege of Sebastopol, severely wounded in tlie trenches, 3rd June, by two musket-balls in the right leg (Medal and
three Clasps, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
12 Captain Ingham served in the Crimea from 27th Jan. 1855, including the 'siege and fall of Sebastopol, and affair in
the Cemetery (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served with the Okamundel field force in 1859, and was present at
the assault on the fort of Beyt, and siege and occupation of Dwarka.
19-t Captain Day-served in the Crimea from 1st June 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and affair in the
Cemetery (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
13 Captain Blake served with the 47th Regt. at the siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
Served in the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including the relief of Lucknow by Lord Clyde, and occupation of the Alumbagh.
14 Lieut. Brodigan served tlie Eastern campaign of 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol and affair in the Cemetery
—severely wounded (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served with the Okamundel field force in 1859, and was pre¬
sent at the storming and capture of Beyt (wounded), reconnaissance before, siege, and occupation of D^arka.
15 Lieut. Vaughan served in the Crimea from 20th Aug. to 2nd Sept. 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol (Medal
and Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served with the Okamundel field force in 1859, was present at the assault of the fort of
Beyt, and siege and occupation of Dworkn.
16 Lieut. Ducat served as Adjutant to the detachment 28th Regt. with the Okamundel field force in 1859; commanded
the sharpshooters at the assault of the fort of Beyt, and was present at the siege reconnaissance and occupation of Dwarka.
17 Lieut. Horniblow served, as Interpreter, with the detachment 28th Regt. with the Okamundel field force in 1859, and
was present at the assault of the fort of Bcyt, and siege and occupation of Dwarka.
18 Lieut. Ranee served throushout tlie Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, in
the trenches at the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and assault of the 18th June (Medal and three Clasps, and Turkisli Medal).
19 Captain Berry served throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkermun,
siege and fall of Sebastopol, and affair in the Cemetery (Medal and three Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
20 Doctor Marlow served the Eastern campaign of 1854-65, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, siege and fall
of Sebastopol (Medal and three Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor, and Turkish Medal).
21 Assist.Surg. Drice served throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-56, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman,
siege and fall of Sebastopol, and afiair in the Cemetery (Medal and three Clasps, and Turkish Medal). Served with the
detachment 28th Regt. with the Okamundel field force in 1859, and was present at the assault of the fort of Beyt, siege
reconnaissance and occupation of Dwarka.
22 Assist.Surg. Irwin served in the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battle of Alma and siege of Seb.is-
topol (Medal and Clasps, and Turkish Medal.)
23 Quartermaster Lumsden served throughout the Crimean campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and
Irikerman, affair in the Cemetery on 18th June (wounded), siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and three Clasjis, and
Turkish Medal—has also the Medal for meritorious conduct). ^»

11 Captain Coote served with the 46th Regt. in the Crimea from 8th Nov. 1854, and was present at the siege and fall of
Sebastopol (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
12 Captain Grimston served with the .Wth Regt. at the siege and fall of Sebastopol, also at the bombardment and cap¬
ture of Kinboarn (fliedal and Clasp, and Turkish fliedal).
13 Lieut. Bailey served the campaigns in Affghaniatan of 1838-42, and was present at the storming of Ghuznee (Medal),
and the forts of Totumdurrah and Joolghur, the engagements in forcing the passes from Cabool to Jellalabad, and in
defence of tlie latter, including tlio general action of the 7th April 1842 (Medal) ; also present at the affairs of Jugdulluck
and Tt.'zeen, and the rocai)ture of Cabool (Medal).
14 Qr.Master Aylett served with the 20tli Regt. throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, inclading the battles of Alma
and Inkcrraau, siege and fall of Sebastopol, and aliair of tlic 18th June (Medal and Clasps, and Tiirkisli Medal. Also in
the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including the actions of Chanda, Umeerpore, and Sultanpore, siege and capture of Lucknow,
subsequent opciations in Oude, and affairs of Churda, and fort of Musjeedia (Medal and Clasp).
15 Doctor Moorhead se^^■ed with the .lind Begt. at the first and gecond siege operations before Mooltan, including the capture of the city
and Kurrender of the fortress (Medal and Clasp).
