1 Sir Thomas Brisbane joined the Duke of Yorli's army in the beginning of the war, and was present in
every action except tliat of the 22nd May 93, when he was confined from a wound received in tlie action
of the 18th of the same month. He was subsequently present at the talking of various islands, forts, &c. in
the West Indies. Sir Thomas has received a cross and one clasp for Vittoria, Pyrenees, NivtUe, Orthes, and
Toulouse, wliere he was wounded.
2 Lieut, llobortson served in the Anglo Spanish Legion from July 1835 to June 1837. Received a medal
for the action of 5th May 1837 ; the cross of the 1st class of San Fernando, for the actions ol the 15th and
ICth March 1837; and another medal for the storming of Irun, 17tli May following : severely wounded in
the face by a splinter in the general action on the lisights of Ametza, 1 Oct. 1838.
