1 Sir Charles ColviUe served us Captain of the 13th regt. in St. Domingo in 170.3, 4, am.'. .">, and was
wounded at the landing at Cape Tiljoron ; as Lieut.-Col. cf the 13th regt. served the campaign of 1801 in
Egypt. Sir Charles has received a cross and one clasp for Martinique, Fuenti^ ri'Onor, Badajos,
(severely wounded by a nnisciuet-ball through the left thigh, and lost a finger off the right hand,) Vittoria
(wounded) and Nivelle.
2 Colonel Sutherland served in the Ashantee War. on the Gold Coast, in 1824.
3 Slajor .lohnson embarked with his regiment on the expedition to Hanover in 1805, and wtis shipwrecked
and taken prisoner. Accompanied tlie expedition to Soutli America in ISOO, and was present at the
storming of Buenos Ayros. Served afterwards in the Peninsula from .lune 1808 to January 1809, and from
June 18U9 to December 1812, including the battles of Roleia, Viiiiiera, Lugo, Corunna, Busaco, Redinha,
Sabugal (wounded), Fuentes d'Onor, El Bodon, first siege of Badajoz, siege and storming of (^iudad Rodrigo
(severely wounded at the assault), and battle of Salamanca.
4 Captain Spenco served against the .\sii3ntecs from November 1822 to 1820.
