9 Captain Harcourt served in the Burmese war of 1852-53 (Medal), and accompanied the force sent against the rebei chief
Nga Bew. Seived in the Indian Mutiny campaign of JH57-iiS attached to the 2nd Bengal Fusiliers luid was present during
the siege of Delhi, in the advanced batteries Irom 7th to 1 Itii Sept. assault of tUe city and six days fighting therein. Joined
ist Madras Fusiliers in Feb. 1858 in defence of the Aluinb:igh under Outram, and present at the capture of Lucknow, in
the campaign of 1858 in Oude including passage of the Goomtee and other minor affairs. Was Statf Officer tj a field
column under Major Raikes which repulsed the enemy at Shahpore on 13th Oct. 1858 (Medal with two Clasps).
10 Captain Lennox .served in the Burmese war of l852-5o (Medal),
11 Captain Seton served with the 1st Madras Fusiliers in the Burmese war in 185.^ (Medal). Served in the Indian Mu¬
tiny campjugri of 1857-58, and present as Adjutant of a detachment of the Regt. with Havelock'a column at the actions of
Futtehpore, Aoung, Pandoo Nuddee, and Cawnpore; as Aide de Camp to General Havelockat the actions of Oonao (severely
wounded; and Busseerutgunge ; as Adjutant of the Uegt. during the hitter part of ihe occupation of the Alunibagh, capture
of Lucknow, and minor affairs inUude; and on two occasions acted as btatf Officer to detycliments of the Oude force
(Medal with two Clasps).
12 Captain Graeme was present at the quelling of an insurrection in the loiver part of the Bassein river in Jan. 1954

HI Lieut. Barclay served in suppression of the IVlutiny in Bengiil in 1857, and was present with Havelock's column in
the actions of Mungarwar and Alumbagh, relief of Lucknow, and defence of the Residency—severely wounded (Medal with
Clasp, and a year's service for Lucknow;.
17 Lieut. Bertie served in supiiession of the Mutiny in Bengal in 1857-58, and was present with Havelock's column in
the actions of Fultenpore, A^ung, Pandoo Nuddee, Cawnpore, Oonao, Buseeiuigunye (1st and 2nri), Boorbeakechokvkee,
and Jiithnor; was left at Cawnpore in command of detachments on Havelock's crossing into Oude on 19th Sept. and pre¬
sent during the attack on that station by the Gwalior contingent and at its defeat by Lord Clyde, after which joined the
force at the Alumbagh under Outram, and present at the capture of Lucknow (Medal with Ch^sp).
18 Lieut. Dale served in suppression of the Mutiny in Bengal in 1857-58, and was present with Havelock's force in the
actions of Bithoor, Mungarwar, and Alumijagh, relief of Lucknow, and defence of the Residency, ociupation of the Alum¬
