and some minor affairs. Commanded the left wing of the .Vlid in Sir A. Hors'oid's Culumn during the latter part of the
Trans-Gogra cumpaign—twice menlioned in desp itches (Medal).

9 Captain Annesley served in the Crimea from yitth Nov. to Dec. lJto4 (Medal with Clasp for Spba^topol, and Turkish
Medal). Served in the suppression of the Mutiny in India from Nov. 1».^7; command;d two companies ijjth Regt. in the
operations in Bundlecund in 1859, and was present at the surprise and night attack of the enemy on the Kala Nuddy on 5th
Nov. (Medal).
lit Captain Cannon served at the siegeof Sebastopol from 2nih Nov. Ifl54 to I4th Jime 1855 (Medal and Clasp).
II Captain Charles H. Browne served at the siege of Sebastopol from 4th May 1H.V>, and was on the storming )>arty at the
as'saullof the Redan on the Hth Sept.—wounded (Medal and Clasp, Sardinian and Turkish Medals, and 5th Class of the Med-
jidie). Served in Bengal in suppressing the Mutiny in i;t.'>7-.')H, with the Jounpore field force in the actions of Nusrutporc,
Chanda, Ummeerpore, and Sultan pore, afterwards atthesiece and capture of Lucknow {Medal and Clasp).
13 Captain Henry Browne was present with (Jeneral Havelock's field force, and was severely wounded in the lefl arm, leg
and hip at the storming of Oonao on 29th July Iti57; afterwards at the Alum Bagh, as.sauU and capture of Lucknow, relief
of Azimghur, and i)ursuit of Koer Singh (Medal and Clasp).
IK Captiiin Morgan served at the siege and fall of Sehastopol from 3Ist July 1855 (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal),
Served m Bengal in suppressing the Mutiny in 1857-58, with the Jounpore field force in front with the Skirmishers m the
actions of Nusrutpore, Cnanda, Ummeerpore, and Sultanpore; was one of the stormers at Fort Uhowrara and assisted in
bringing out two guns under a close fire ; was afterwards at the attack and capture of Lucknow and storming of the Kaiser
Bagh [thanked in despatches. Medal and Claspi.
19 Lieut. Hill served at the siege of Sebastopol from 31 July 1855, and was of the ladder party at the assault of the Redan
on Hth Sept. (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish .Medal).
20 Lieut. Gould served in Bengal in suppressing the Mutiny in I8.'i7-5a, with the Jounpore field force in front with the Skir¬
mishers in the actions of Nusrutpore, Chanda, Ummeerpore, and Sultanpore; was one of the stormers at Koit Dhowraraand
assisted in bringing out two guns; was afterwards at the attack and capture of Lueknow and storming of the Kaiser Bagh
(thanked in despatthts. Medal and Claspi.
24 Lieuls. Macdonald and Gray served in Bengal in suppressing the Mutiny in ]857-.'>8,—with the Jounpore field force
in the actions of Nusrutpore, Chanda, Ummeerpore, and Sultanpore, afterwards ai the siege and capture of Lucknow
(Medal and Clasp). Lt. Macdonald was also at the stonnmg of the Kaisabagh, and he served in the operations in Bun-
dh cuiid in 1859.
25 Lieut. Smith served at the siege and fall of Sebastopol from 20th Nov. 1854, and sortie of the 20th Dec. (Medal and
Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Servtd in Bengal in suppressing the Mutiny in 18.i7"'^8, with the Joimpore field force in the
actions of Nusrutpore, ('handa, Ummeerpore, and Sultanpore, afterwards at the siege and capture of Lucknow (Medal and
Ciasp).
2() Lieut. Lawless served at the siege and fall of Sebastopol from 20 Nov. 1854, including the assault of the Redan on the
nth Sept.—severely wounded, ball through left thigh and right arm (Medal and Clasp, Knight of the Legion of Honor, and

symghur and besicgetl in the fort tliere for several days, accompanied the force which operated against the rebels under Koer
Singh; the Oude campaign in Dec. 1850, and served 5ubs#quently in the expulsion of the rebels from Budlecund (Medal).

7 Major Cleveland served In the Punjaub camparsn of 1848-19 (Medal). Served in the Peshawur Expeditionary force on the Eu^nfzle
frontirr under Sir Sydney Cotton in April and May 1859, and at the affair with the Hindostanee fanatics on the heights of Sultana tm the
4th May.
