1 Lieut.General Marten joined the Army In the North of Spain in January 1814, and served the last Campaign in
the South of France. I'he following year proceeded to Belgium aiid was present in the retreat from Quutre Bras on the
17th JutiC, and at Waterloo (hurse wounded), and marched with llie cava'ry to Paris.
2 LI.Colonel Crawley was present at the closin;^ o])cralions before Mooltan and at the surrender of the- citadel 22nd
Jan. 184t) He served as e.xtra Aide-de-C:anip to Sir Henry Ditndas commanding the Bombay Division of the army of
the I'unjaub (luring the inarch from .Mooltiin and the subseiinenl operations, and was present at tlie Ijattle of
