8 Lt.CoIonel Guise served in Ihe Ciiniea from 5th to 24th Pec. 1854 (Medal with Clasp for Sebaftopol).
Served in the Indian campaign, including the siege and capture ot Lucknow, wbere he led tlie attack upon
the Secunderabagli (mentioned in despatches, Victoria Cross, Brevet of LI.Colonel, Medal and Clasp.)
4 Lt.Coloncl Tinling served with the 90th Lt. Infantry in the Crimea at the siege and fall of Sebastopol
from lOth Aug. 1855, and was severely wonnded at ilie ossanlt of the Redan on the 8th Sept. (mentioned in
despatches. Medal and Clasp, and Brevet JIajor). Served with Haveloek's force in the advance to and relief
of Lucknow and in its subsequent defence; with Outram's force at the .Alunibagh ; at the final assault and
capture of Lueknow, and subsequent operations in Oude (Medal and two Clasps, and Brevet of Lt.CoIonel).
5 Lt.Colonel Crealoek landed with the 90th Lt. Infantry at Balaklava on 5th Uec.1864, and served at
the siege and fall of Sebastopol; commanded a party of the Hogt. at the storming of the Quarries, and
assisted in holding that work against the attacks of the Kus?lans during the following day; present
