8 Major Wickliam and Paymaster Dowler served in the Piinjaub campaign of 184S-9; present at the passace of the
Chenab, and in the battles of Sadoolapore, ChilUanwallah, and Goojerat, and with the field force in pursuit of the
enemy to the Khyber Pass (Medal and two Clasps). Paymaster Uowler served at the siege, assault, and capture
of Delhi in 1857, and of Nujjiifghur (Medal and Clasp).
9 Captain Grcig served in the Punjaub campaign of ISi9-9 (Medal and Clasp), was present at the pass:ige o( the Chenab, and in the battles
or Sadoolapore and Goojerat, and with the field force in pursuit of the enemy to the Khyber I'ass in March 1849; expedition into the
Euzofzie country ; in action with ihe enemy 11th and Hth Dec. 1849 ; present at the capture and destruction of the insurgent villages of
Saggow, PuUee, Zoormundie, and Shecrkaneo.
10 Captain Moore served in the Punjaub campaign of 1848-9, and was present at the battle of Goojerat, and with the field force in pursuit of
the enemy to the Kliybcr Pass in March 1849 {Medal and Clasp) ; expedition to Kohnt against the AfTreedie Tribe 10th, Uth, 12th, and
I3th Ft-b. 1850. Served at the siege, assault, and capture of Delhi in 1857 (wounded), and action of Nujjuffihur (Medal and Clasp).
11 Captain M'Donough served in the Punjaub campaign of 1848-0, was present at the passage of the Chenub, and battles of ChiUianwallah
(%vounded) and Goojerat, and with the field force in pursuit of the enemy to the Khyber Pass in March 1819 ( Medal and two Clasps). Served
at the siege, assault, and capture of Delhi and action of Nujjufghur (Medal and Clasp).
12 Captain Blackett served with the 98th Regt. in the Peshawur expeditionary force on the Euzofzie frontier under Sir
Sydney Cotton in April and May 1858, and at the affair with the Hindostanee fanatics on the heights of Sultana on the
4th M^y.
18 Captain Slonian served from 1st July 1857 as Orderly Officer to Brigadier "Wm. Jones at the siege, assault, and
capture of Delhi, and repulse of Sorties on 9th July and 23rd August (Medal and Clasp).
14 Captain Yonge served at the siege of Delhi including repulse of Sorties on 18th July and 12th August (Medal and
Clasp).
16 Lieut. Griffiths served at the siege and capture of Delhi and repulse of Sorties on 4th and 9th July 1857—
wounded (Medal and Clasp).
18 Lieut. T. B. Hutton served with the 2Ut Fusiliers during the latter part of 1855, and at the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and the expe¬
dition to Kinbourn (Medal and Clasp). Served with the 61st Regt. at the siege, assault and capture of Delhi in 1857, including repulse of
Sortie^! on 4th, 18lh, and L>3rd July, and 1st August—wounded (Medal and Clasp).
19 Lieut. Boileau served with the Gist Regt. at the siege, assault, and capture of Delhi (and as a Volunteer with the
Artillery from 26th Aug. till its fall), including repulse of sorties on 4th IStli and 23rd July, and 1st Aug. 1857 (Medal
and Clasp).
20 Lieut. Casement served at the siege of Delhi and was present at the repulse of Sorties on 4th and 18th July and
1st Aug. 1857 (Medal and Clasp.)
21 Lieut. Tufnell served with the 93rd Highlanders at the relief of the Garrison of Lucknow in Nov. 1857, at the
defence of Cawnpore and defeat of the Gwalior Mutineers there and at Serai Ghat, also present at the action of Kalee
Nuddee (Mediil and Clasp).
22 Lieut. Knipe served with the 95th Regt. at the siege and capture of Awali (Medal).
23 Ensign Fraser served throughout the Punjaub campaign of 1848-49 and was present at the passage of the Chenab,
battles of Sadoolapore, Chillianwallah (wounded), and Goojerat, and pursuit to the Khyber Pass (Medal and two Cla'^ps).
Served also at the siege, assault, and capture of Delhi in 1857, und repulse of sorties on 4th, 9ih, 18th, and 23rd July (Medal
and Clusp).
24 Qr.Master Dowler served at the siege and capture of Delhi (MeJal and Clasp).
25 Surgeon lleade served in medical charge of the Gist Regt. at the siege of Delhi from 1st July 1857 to the final cap¬
ture of the city on 20ih September; was present at the repulse of the sorties of the 4th IHh 18ih and 2.1rd July, accom¬
panied the Regt. at the assault of the city on the 14th Sept., and subsequently with a small party of the tllst repulsed an
attiick of about .^00 Sepoys on some wounded men whose lives were thereby saved; on the 16th Sept. was one of the first
up the breach at the stormingof the magazine and with a serjeunt spiked a i^un—mentioned in dt-spatch, and recommended
for promotion for •' unwearied exertions and gallant conduct in the field" during the siege and asaauit of Delhi (Medal
and Clasp).
26 Assist.Surgeon Hoyte served at the siege, assault, and capture of Delhi, including Ihe action of Nujjufghuy
(Medal and Clasp).
