1 Major General Marten joined the Army in the North of Spain in January 1814, and sewed the last Campaign in
the South of France. The following year proceeded to Belgium and was present in the retreat from Quatre Bras on the
17th June, and at Waterloo (hoise wounded), and marched with the cavalry to Paris.
2 Colonel Shule served in the 13th Lt. Dragoons with the Field Force employed in the reduction of Kurnool, East
Indies ; served with the (ith Drasoons the Eastern campai|;n of 1854-55 (as Assist. Adjutant General of the Cavaliy Division
since 23rd Nov. 1854), including the battles of Balaklava, InkernLtn, and Tchernaya, and siege and fall of Seb.istopol
(Midal and Clasps, Brevet Lt.Col., Knijht of the Lejtion of Honor, 5ih Class of the Medjidie, and Turkih Medal).
3 LI.Colonel Crawlcy was present at the closing operations before Mooltan and at tlie surrender of the citadel 22iid
Jan. 1343. He served as extra Aide-de Camp to Sir Henry Uundas commanding the Bombay Division of the army of
the Punjaub during the march from Mooltiin and the subsequent operations, and was picsent at the battle of
(xoojerat (Medal) and in the pursuit of the Sikh army to the river Jhelum.
at Major Hunt served with the 9tn Lancers in the last Punjaub campaign, and was pre»,ent at the battles of Chil-
lianwallah and Goojerat (Medal and Clasps). Served the Eastern campaign w'th the 6th Dragoons, including the battles
of Balaklava, Inkerman, and Tchernaya, and siege and fail of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, Sardinian and Turkish
Medals, and 5th Class of the Medjidie).
6 Captaius Weir and Rawlinson served the Eastern campaign of 1854-.55, including the battles of Balaklava Inkerman
and Tchernaya, and siege and fall of Sebastojiol (Medal and Clasps and Turkish Medal). Captain Weir has the eth Class
of the Medjidie,
