193 Lieut. Brutton served with the combined force before Sebastopol during the siege in
1864-55, and with the expedition to Kertch and Yenl Kale (Medal and Clasp).
194 Lieut. Melville Suther served-before Sebastopol from 1854 until its fall; also at
Kertcli and Yeni Kale, and at the bombardment of Kinbourn (Medal and Clasp).
195 Lieut, le Grand served at tlie siege of Sebastopol from J854 until its fall; was also
at the capture of Kertcli, and occupation of Yeni Kale, and at the surrender of Kinbourn
(Medal and Clasp).
196 Lieut. Graliam served with the Baltic expeditions in 1854 and 1855, including the
destruction of Telegraph Stations on 29th June, and the shelling a large body of troops on
1st July.
197 Lieut. R. F. Tayler served with the R. M. Brigade in the Crimea from Feb. 1855,
until the fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasp).
198 Lieut. Ozzard served with the R. M. Brigade in the Crimea in 1865, and with the
combined force before Scbastopol during the siege; also with the expedition to Kertch,
advance on and occupation of Yeni Kale; was in action with outer defences of Sebastopol
on 17th June (Medal and Clasp).
199 Lieut. E. B. Pritchard joined the R. M. Brigade in the Crimea in Feb. 1855, and
served with it until the fall of Sebastopol; was also at the surrender of Kinbourn (Medal
and Clasp).
200 Lieut. Brnughton served in the Crimea during the latter part of 1855 (Medal).
201 Lieut. Donellan served with the Baltic expedition in 1855, including the bombard¬
ment of Sweaborg.
203 Lieut. Shairp served with the Baltic expedition in 1866, including the destruction of
Telegraph Stations on 29th June, and the shelling a large body of troops on 1st July.
203 Lieufs. Cairncross, Dixon, Sadleir, Small, Inglis, and A. H. Pascoe served with the
Baltic expedition in 1855. Lieut. Dixon served also with the expedition to tlie Baltic
until the declaration of peace in 1866.
204 Lieut. Stark, M. H. Price, and NicoU served with the Baltic expedition in 1865, in¬
cluding the bombardment of Sweaborg.
205 Lieut. Holmes served with the Baltic expedition in 1855, including the destruction
of a fort, and shelling an encampment on 23rd June, blowing up of Fort Svartholm and
barracks on 4th July, destruction of the barracks at Lovisa on 6tli July, shelling a Cossack
encampment and landing at Kounda Bay on 11th July, destruction of a Cossack barracks,
&c. on 12th July, action with a Russian steamer, gun-boats, and a battery near VViborg
on 13th July; also with the batteries of Fredericksliara on 21st July, capture of the Is¬
land of Kolka, and destruction of military stores on 26th July, and bombardment of Swea¬
borg. Served also with the expedition to the Baltic, until the declaration of peace in 1866.
206 Lieuts. Rodney, Conner, Wroot, Hale, E. Willis, and Standbridge served with tlie
Baltic expedition in 1855. Lieut. Wroot served in the Baltic in 1866.
207 Lieut. Robilliard served with the Baltic expedition in 1855, including the action with
a battery at the mouth of the Narva on 18th Juue, and bombardment of Sweaborg.
208 Lieut. F. J. Parry served with the R. M. Brigade in the Crimea at the siege and
fall of Sebastopol, also at the surrender of Kinbourn (Medal and Clasp).
209 Lieut. Rose served with the R. M. Brigade in the Crimea, also at the bombardment
and surrender of Kinbourn (Medal and Clasp).
21) Capt. Hookey served as Volunteer 1st class,in His Majesty's ship Prince of Wales,
from Jan. to Dec. 1805, and was in the general action of the 22nd Dec. 1805. Served in
the West Indies, from 1806 until 1809, includingthe capture of Les Saints, and Martinique,
and several actions in boats cutting out French vessels, and destroying batteries, &c. From
1809 to 1811 served on board H. M. S. Theban, blockading the French flotilla at Boulogne ;
several times in action with them. Assisted in the boats cutting out a large French lugger
at Dieppe. From 1812 to 1814 served on board His Majesty's ship Daphne, \n the Baltic,
and was several times in action with Danish gun-boats in the Belt. Has received the War
Medal witli one Clasp.
212 Captain Geo.Watson served as Quartermaster of the Royal Marine Battalion employed
in co-operation with the troops of tlie Queen of Spain in 1837, and was wounded 16th March.
213 Captain T. B. Gray served at the battle of Navarino in 1827. Also in a battalion
under Colonel Owen, on the north coast of Spain in 1836-7-8, in co-operation with the
Spanish army, including the field actions of the 10th, 12th, and 14th March, and the
action of Hcrnani, 16th March 1837 : he was subsequently appointed Adjutant to the
force under Colonel Parke. He served as Captain on the coast of Portugal and in the
Tagns during tlie civil war in 1846-7, and was landed witli his detachment from H. M. S.
Superb, to guard the captured divisions of the rebel army under Count das Antas, prison¬
ers in Fort St. Julian. Has received the War Medal with one Clasp.
216 Capt. Ambrose A. R. Wolrige served in the year 1809 with Lord Cochrane in the
Basque Roads; and in the same year was engaged in action with gun-boats in the Baltic.
From 1810 to 1812 defence of Cadiz and Tarifa. Severely wounded at South Beveland in
1814, and received a reward from the Patriotic Fund. Present at the battle of Algiers in
1816. Has received the M^ar Medal with four Clasps.
