5 Captain Elliot Tolunteered
with the 58th on that Regt. pro¬
ceeding to New Zealand, and served
throughout the northern and south¬
ern campaigns of 1845 and 18-lG;
was present at Okaihau, Ohaeawai,
Ruapekapeka, and Horokiwi, and in
several skirmishes in the north.
6 Captain Dunne served the
Eastern eainpai<:n of 1854 and
early part of 185.'j, including the
battles of Alma, Balak]a^ a, and
Inkerman, siege of Sebastopol, and atttick on
the Eedan on the IStli June (Medal and four
Clasps).
10 Ensign Johnson served in tlie Eastern
campaign of 1854 in the Commissariat depart¬
ment, and was present at the battle of Alma
(Medal and one Clasp).
fl Surgeon Todd served with the 71st Eegt. in
Ihe Crimea in 1855, the greater part of the time
in medical charge of the Regt.-including the
siege of Sebastopol and expedition to Kertch
(Medal and Clasp).
