Dardanelles. In K^^ypt as Assistant-Adjutanl-General with the force under Miijor-General ^Va«chnpe, ;it

siege of that place, with the force under Major-Generai Sir W. Stewart. In ;8U8 served in Portugal as
Assistant-Adjutant-Ocneral in the army comnianded by Sir Arthur Welleslcy, in the attair in tlie fiont of
Obidos, andin the battlesof Iloleia and Vimiera. In 1809 served as extra Aide-de-Camp to LordlVolIingtou,
and was present at the battle of Tulavera. In 1810 with tiie 3rd Dragoon Guards, in tlie campaign in Por¬
tugal, including the retreat to Torres Vedras, battle o!' liusaco, and advance to Santareni- In Sepi. 1813
proceeded on a mission as Military Commissioner to the head-quarters ol the allied armies, under Prince
Schwarzenberg, in Germany. Served at the siege of Huninguen, and the campaign of 1S14 in France, in¬
cluding the taking of Langres, tlie battles of La Kothiore and JirieuTie, capture of Troves, atiairs of Mornnin
and Nangis, in front of Bray, defence of Tioycs, when attacked by Bonaparte '23rd Feb. ; b.itlle of Uar-sur-
Aube, the subsequent afi'air upon the Ijarco, re-capiure of Troves, battles of Arcis-sur-Aube and of Fore
Champenoise, advance upon and battle of Paris, and capture of that city. As His Slajesty's Envoy Erttraor-
dinary and MinisterPlenipotentiar> at the Court ofTuscany,served with the Austrian army in the campaign
against Naples in 1815, including tlie battles of Tolentino and Marcerata. Signed, in conjunction with
Field Marshal Bianchi, who commanded the Austrian army, the Alilitary Convention by which the kipgdv>m
of Naples was restored to its Sovereign, Kins Ferdinand. Hia Lordship has received the War Medal and
f:>ur Clasps for Roleia, Vimiera, Tnlavera, and Busaco.
4 Major Anderson and Captain Mirgesson served at the siege and fall of Sebaslopol from 25lh Auff. 1850
(Medal and Clfisp, and Knigitt of tlie Legion of Honor).
5 Capt. Cumming served the campaii^n of 1845-6 on the SuLlej with the 9lh Regt., and has received
the Medal and two Clasps for Mnodkec, Ferozeshah, and Sobraon.
6 Lieut. Chapman served witii the 29ih Regt. lliroughout the Punjaub campaign of 1848-4'}, including
the passage ol the Chenab, and batdes of Chillianwallah andGoojerat (Medal and Clasps).
7 Ensign Buckner served in the Kaffir war (Medal).

son, Baxter, Hill, Curwcn, Sims, â– Willijuns, Turner, Thompson, Harnplcn, Kelsall, and Bolton,
Ens. AVright, Qr.-Master M'Grath, Surgeon Deeble, and Assist.-Surgeon Knox, landed with tlie
.otith Regiment in the Crimea on the 25tli Aug. 1855, and have received the Medal uitli Clasp for
Sebastopul.
