22 Lieut.-Coloiicl James R. Colthurst served in the Peidnsuh), and was present at the battles of
C->runna and Salamanca, for which he has received the War Medal with two Clasps. He served
ttlso the campaign ot 1815, and was slightly wcunded at Waterloo.
23 Lieut.-Colonel Stepney Cowoll served with the Coldstream Guards in tlie camiiaigns of
1810-11-12-13 in Portugal and Spain. Was present with his Regt. in the retreat from Busaco,
Lines at Torres Vcdras, a^lvance after Massena to Santarem, and the French army's subsequent
irtreat to Portugal, affairs of Iledinha and Foz d'Arouee, battle of Fnentes d'Onor, siege of
(Jiudad Rodrigo, covering army of Badajoz, battle oi t^alainanca, affair of Larena, sie:;e of
Burg'is (led a storming jiarty, 18th Oct.) retreat into Portugal, advance into S|iain, affair of
0<ma, battle of Vittoria, affair of Tolnsa, sieue of St. Sebastian, and affair on the Bidassoa, after
whieh he left the army for England in command of a detachment in charge of the garrison
ot St. Seliastian as prisoners of War. In 1814 he was at the bombardment of the French fleet at
Antwerp. In 181.i, Waterloo campaign and capture of Paris. In 1816-18, witli army of
(X'cupation in France. Has received the War Medal with four Clasps and the Waterloo Medal
and is a KU.
24 Lieut.-("olonel Digby served with the o2nd Regt. with the Walclieren Expedition in 1809,
and subsequi ntly in the Peninsula in tlie Liglit Division, including the siege of Ciudad Rodrigo,
retreat from Burgos, battle of Vittoria, alvance in the Pyrenees, affair of Tarbes andDOleron,
and battle of Orthes and Toulouse on the staff of Sir Andrew Barjiard (War Medal with four
Clasps).
25 Lieut.-Colonel Crowe served in the Peninsula with the 32nd Regt., from July 1811 to Ihe
end of that war in 1814, including tlic support of tlie siege of Ciudad Rodriuo, and covering the
siege of Badajoz, action at Usagre, siege and storming tl.e forts and battle of Salamanca, siege of
B:irgos, actions before Baycmne, and battle of Orthes. Served also the campaign of 1815, and
wiis severely wounded at Qnatre Bras.
26 Lieut.-Colonel Hon. P. F. Cust served with the 3rd Dragoon Guards in the Peninsula from
April 1809 to the end of that war in 1814, except the year 1812; and he was present at the
battles of Talavera and Busaco, in all the affairs with his Regiment on the Retnat to the Lines
u( Lisbon, and lastly at the battle ol Tmilouse. He has received the War Medal witli three Clasps.

27 Sir VVilliani do Bathe served as Aide-de-Camn to Sir John Stuart in the diffi'rent operations
in the Mediterranean and defence of Sicily wiien attacked by Mnrat; subsequently ho serveil in
tli'i Peninsula, and was ]n-eseiit during the retreat from Burgos, and battles of Nivelle and Nive,
for which he has received the War ?dedal with two Clasps. In 1813 he embarked for America,
Hnd was present at the attacks upon Washinston, Baltimore, and New Orleans.
28 Lieut.-Colonel De Visme has received the War Medal with one Clasp for the battle of
Fuentes d'Onor.
29 Lient.-Colonel Dillon served in the expedition to St. Domingo in 1809. Served also in
Ciuna (Medal), and was present at the first capture of Chusan, storm and capture of the lieights
above Canton, and of the sea-batteries on Amoy, and subsequent capture of the citj*.
30 Lieut.-Colonel Falkiner served in the Peninsula with the 61sr Regt., and was present at the
bsttles.of Talavera, Busaco, and Salamanca, for which he has received the War Medal with three
Clasps.
31 Lieut.-Colonel Fcndall served in the Peninsula from 1809 to the end of the war, including
tlio battles of Alhnhera, Usagre, Vittoria, and Tonlouse.
31+. Lieut.-Colonel Feilden served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, with the 44th Regt.,
including the battles of Alma and Inkermau, and siege of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps).
.32 Lord Charles FitzRoy was at the battle of Corunna, and ,-crved on the Walchereii Expe¬
dition with the Guards. In 1811, he joined Lord Hill's staff, and was present at the sieL:c and
capture of Batlajoz, battl'S of Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive, Oithes, Toulouse, and Waterloo,
and has received the War Medal witli eii>ht Clasps. He also served two years with the Aiioy of
Occni)ation in France.
32t Lieut.-Colonel Flamank served in the Peninsula with the 51st Regt. from Jan. 1811, to
th.-^ end of that war in 1814, including the battle of Fuentes d'Onor. second siege of Badajoz,
covering the sieges of Ciudad Rodrigo anrt third siege of Badajoz, affair in front of Moresro,
battle of Salamanca, retreat from Burgos, battles of V^ittoria and the Pyrenees (30th and 31st
July), passage of the Bidiissoa, battles of Nivelle and St. Pe, and battle of Orthes. Served also
the campaigu of 1815, including the battle of Waterloo and rapture of Cambray.
