" How can you offer a Guarantee
on Badminton Rackets? " a
customer asked.
" It's the men and the trees I
use," was Mr. Muller's answer.
Take Trees first. The top part
('A' in diagram) is soft and sappy.
As you go down the tree, the
wood gradually gets tougher.
' B * is used for many well-known
Rackets; I dare not risk it—it's
too soft.
The very best ' cut ' is 'C '.
Only this section can be
relied on for the delicate
bends of a Badminton Racket.
We use nothing else for Bad¬
minton.
And (he men !
MuUer Rackets are made by
real craftsmen. Only their skill
can achieve the perfect adjustment
of tension, the lightness combined
with strength.
Made with British Wood and Gut, by British Craftsmen.
