(*) The precedence of the Royal Marines is as follows;—
(i) When serving under the Naval Discipline Aft (i.e., when landed from H.M. ships or from naval
establlshmente) they form part of the naval contingent and take precedence immediately after the
Royal Navy.
(ii) When serving under the Army Act (i.e., when a Royal Marine unit Is furnished from a Royal
Marine division or from a Royal Marino battalion) they take precedence after The Royal Berkshire
Regiment (Princess Charlotte of Wales's).
(c) In order of arms as for Regular Army.
(d) The Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort's Own) rank after The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess
Louise's).
(e) Take precedence amongst themselves In the order in which they are shown on page zrl.
