Members—In addition to Members appointed by Royal Warrant there is at
least one representative from each County.
The Corporation administers a number of Funds for the benefit of widows,
orphan children and other dependants of members of His Majesty's Forces,
and is prepared to imdertake the administration of Funds intended for this
purpose.
The Funds include :—
(1) Moneys raised by public subscription for the assistance of widows
and orphans of those who served in certain campaigns, notably the
South African Wab.. 1899-1902.
(2) The SoLDiEES' Effects Fund which ia administered under the
Regimental Debts Act, 1893, and Royal Warrant, for the benefit
of widows and orphan children of soldiers and airmen who die whilst
serving, or within six months of discharge.
(3) The Roman Catholic Orphans' Fund under which the daughters
of deceased sailors, soldiers, marines and airmen are nominated to
selected Convent Schools, where they are maintained free of cost to
mother or guardiaji.

FOUNDED 1857.
The objects of this Foimdation are to maintain oiphan girls free of all
expense to mother or guardian; to give a sound education, and to train them
for suitable employment. The age for admission is from 5 to 11 years.
The School buildings, which stand in their o^^ti grounds of 21 acres, are
exceptionally well equipped for ensuring the health and comfort of the children.
Subscriptions and donations in support of the School will be
thankfully received by the Secretary at the address given below.
