2nd Battalion.—Gules (crimson); In the centre the Thistle, and the Ked and White Roses conjoined,
Issnant from the same stall? all proper, ensigned with the Imperial Crown; Motto, *'f^ni/a Fortior; "
In base the Sphinx superscribed " Bgypt; " In the dexter canton the Union.
The Regimental Colours .—
The Union: In the centre a Company Badge ensigned with the Imperial Crown \ In base the Sphinx
superscribed " Egypt."
The 24 Company Badges are borne In rotation, 2 at a time, one on the Regimental Colour of each of the
two Battalions.
