SODA WATER MACHINERY.
The success that has attended the introduction of Soda Water Machines—producing the
..i»»-y refreshing and non-intoxicating drinks—into the British Army, is borne out by the
interest now taken in the subject by the whole service. It is rarely a Regiment is ordered on
Foreign Service without taking with it a complete plant for making these refreshing waters
whilst at home we have fitted up factories for their manufacture at the depot of the Royal
Artillery, Shoeburyness ; Army Service Corps, Aldershot; and the Royal Engineers, Chatham
Among the many abroad, a few of the names of Regiments so supplied are here given —we
cannot give all, as many have been supplied by their Regimental Agents, who have not given us
the names of the Regiments (see the Testimonial given by Messrs. Henry S. King & Co
who have had over 30 sets of machinery from us).
