" Lt.Colonel Parkinson served with the95th Regiment in the Crimea from 30th May 1855,including the siege anil fall
of Sebastopol, attack of the Quarries on 6th June, attack of the i8th June, and assault of the Kedan on 8th
September (wounded. Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served also in the Central India campaign in 1858-59,
including the siege and capture of Kotah, pursuit of Tantia Topee, and action at Barode (mentioneit in despatch.
Medal with Clasp).
' Lt.Colonel Crealock served with the 95th Regiment in the Indian mutiny campaign in 1858, including the siege
and capture of Kotah, battle of Kota ke Serai ^wounded), and general action i-esuiiing in the capture of Gwalior,
siege and capture of Pourie, and surprise of the rebel camp of Kunryc (Medal with Clasp, and twice mentioned in
despatches).
* .Major Knatchbull served with the 95th Regiment in the Crimea from the i6th June 1855, including the siege
and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served also in the Indian mutiny campaign in 1858,
including the siege and capture of Kotah, recapture of Chundaree, Viattle of Kola ke Serai, general action resulting
in the capture of Gwalior, siege and capture of Pourie, and surprise of the rebel camp at Koondrye (mentioned m
despatches. Medal with Clas)j).
1" Major Paske served with the 95th Regiment in the Crimea from the 25th August 1855, including the siege and
fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served also in the Indian mutiny campaign in 1858,
including the siege and capture of Kotah (Medal with Clasp for (Jentral India).
" Captain J. It. Pearson was present at the mutiny of the late 6th Bengal Native Infantry at Allahabad on tho
6th June 1857, and served throughout the Indian mutiny campaign ; was present with Havelcick's force throughout
its operations, including the I'Ctaking of the city and cantonments of Allahabad, actions ol l^'uilehiiore, Aoung, Piindoo
Nuddee, Cawnpore, Oonao, Busseerutgunge (both actions), Boorbecke Chowkee, Bithoor, Mungarwai-, jind Alurabiigh
and relief of Lucknow. Was afterwards present at the defeat of the Gwalior Contingent at Cawnpoii;, ix-oic 141a lion
of Rohilcund, and pursuit of Ferozeshah (mentioned in despatches, Medal with Clasp, and a year e surv.LL,.
