' Mr. Chapman served throughout the campaign in Affghanistan under Lord Keane, and was present at the storm
and capture of Ghnznee (Medal).
5 Mr. Allen served in the field with the Cape Mounted Riflemen during the Kaffir war of 1846-47 and was present
in many skirmishes (Medal).
8 Mr. Anderson served the Eastern campaign of 1854, and again from 15th March 1855 (Medal with Clasp for
Sebastopol, 5th Class of theMed'idie, and Turkish Medal).
' Doctor D. S. E. Bain served in the Crimea from 13th May 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal
with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
* Doctor E.W. Bawtree served in the New Zealand war, and acted as Senior Medical Officer in Taranaki from May
1865 to April 1866, and took part in expeditions against the rebel Maories. Served in Abyssinia as Principal Medical
Officer of British Troops to the 2nd Division of the expeditionary force from 9th March 1868 to the termination of
the campaign (Medal).
» Doctor F. H. Baxter served with the 6th Dragoons in the Crimean campaign from gth March 1855, including thai
attack of the i8th June, battle of the Tchernaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasn, 5th Class <rf|
the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). ' '
1" Doctor Blake served with the 98th Regiment in China (Medal), and was present at the storm and capture of
Chin Kiang Foo. Served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkermau, the siege of
Sebastopol, and repulse of the sortie on 26th Oct. 1854 (Medal with three Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
'2 Mr. Blenkins served with the Grenadier Guards in the Crimean campaign from 20th Dec. 1854, including the
siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
" Doctor Boyes served as Surgeon of the ist Battalion 60th Rifles in the Punjaub campaign of 1848-49, and was
present during the second siege operations at Mooltan and capture of that fortress, battle of Goojerat, pursuit of
the Sikh Army until its final surrender at Rawul Pindee, the occupation of Attock and Peshawur, and expulsion of
the Affghan Force beyond the Khyber Pass (Medal with two Clasps).
i* Mr. Burke served with the 50th Regiment throughout the Sutlej campaign of 1845-46, and was present at the
battles of Moodkee, Perozeshah, Aliwal, and Sobraon (Medal and three Clasps); in the two latter engagements, and
to the end of the war, he was in medical charge of the Regiment. Served with the Buffs at the siege and assault of
Sebastopol from ist May 1855 (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Also throughout the campaign of i860 in
China, including the action of Sinho, taking of Tangku, storm and capture of the Taku Forts (Medal with Clasp);
was some time Principal Medical Officer at Tientsin.
" Doctor Cameron served in Bengal during the mutiny as Surgeon 37th Regiment (Medal).
" Mr. Cowan served with the i8th Royal Irish in China (Medal), and was present during the operations against!
Canton, and the atta,ck and capture of Chapoo, Shanghai, Woosung, and Chin Kiang Foo. Served also in the Pun¬
jaub campaign of 1848-49 (Medal).
1' Mr. De Lisle served with the 4th Regiment throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battlesi
of Alma and Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor, andi
Turkish Medal).
1' Doctor R. Domenichetti served on the Staff of General Havelock on his first taking the field in 1857, and waa
present in the actions of Futtehpore, Aoung, Pandoo Nuddee, Cawnpore, Buseerutgunge, Bithoor, and Alumbagh,
also the defence of the Alumbasrh (thanked by the President of the Council ot India). Served with the 75th Regiment
before Lucknow under General Outram in two attacks upon his position (Medal with Clasp).
'» Doctor U. W. Evans served as a volunteer (his Regiment, the i6th Lancers, being at home) from the commence¬
ment of the war in Russia until promoted in December 1854, including the battles of Alma, Balaklava, and Inker-
man, and in the Trenches before Sebastopol (Medal with four Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
*" Mr. W. F. T. Ivey served with the Army in Turkey and Bulgaria in 1854, and in the Crimea in the 31st
Regiment in 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
21 Doctor Galbraith served with the 99th Regiment in the New Zealand war (Medal), and wag present at Ohaeawi
and Ruapckapeka. He was the Senior Medical Officer present during the greater part of the operations in the
southern district of New Zealand ; at several skirmishes in the Valley of the Hutt; also at the Horokiwi on the 6tl4
Aug. 1846. Served with the expeditionary force in the North of China in i860 (Medal).
'" Mr. Graves served with the 4th Light Dragoons during the campaign in Affghanistan under Lord Keane, and
was present at the siege and capture of Ghuznee (Medal). Served also in the Crimea with the 68th Regiment ir
'854-55, and was present at the battle of Inkermau and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with two Clasps, and Tiu-kisl
Medal).
"3 Doctor G. K. Hardie served with the 53rd Regiment in the Punjaub campaign in 1849, and was present at th*
battle of Goojerat (Medal with Clasp).
2* Mr. Howard served with the 20th Regiment throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battlei
of Alma and Inkerman, siege of Sebastopol, and assault of the 8th September (Medal with three Clasps, 5th Claet
of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Sei-vcd in the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including the actions of Chauda«
Umeerpore, and Sultanpore, siege and capture of Lucknow (Medal with Clasp).
25 Doctor Hunter served ihe Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Balaklava, and sieg«
