' Colonel FitzWygram served in the Crimea with the 6th Dragoons, was present at the battle of Tchernaya and
fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
' Lt.Colonel Swindley served with the 12th Lancers in the Kaffir war of 1852-53 (Medal), and was at the action of
the Berea. Also the Eastern campaign from gth May 1855, including the siege and fall of Sehastopol, operations near
Eupatoria under General D'AUonville, and commanded General Simpson's escort in the Crimea. (Medal with Clasp,
and Turkish Medal). Also the Indian campaign of 1858-59 with the Saugor and Nerbudda field force, including the
actions of Jeegunge, Kubrai, and Banda (Medal).
* Captain Langtry served with the 3rd Dragoon Guards in the Abyssinian campaign in 1868, and was present at
the storming and capture of Magdala (Medal).
5 Lieut. M'Br^'an served in the Kaffir war of 1846-47, and was severely wounded—shot through the left thigh—in
the action of Gwanga (Medal).
