1 General Bell joined the Royal Fusiliers
in the Peninsula in 1811, and served there
until the end of the war, and was present at
the actions of Fuentes Guinaldo and Aldea de
Ponte, advance on Salamanca, affairs of St.
Christoval and Rueda, battle of Salamanca,
advance to and retreat from Madrid, advance
from Portugal, battles of Vittoria, the Nivelle,
and the Nive. In 1814 embarked with the
Royal Fusiliers to join the force before New
Orleans, and present at the assaults. Joined
the army at Paris, and remained until its with¬
drawal. He has received the War Medal with
four Clasps.
2 Lt.Colonel Garrett served in the 46th Regt.
and on the Start' in the Crimea from the 8th
Nov. 1854, including tlie siese and (all of
Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, Brevet of
Major, Sardinian and Turkish Medals, and
5tli Class of the Medjidie).
5 Lieut. Healey served in the S3rd Kegt. in the Indian Cam¬
paign, and was present at the reduction of the fort of Arrah in
Jan. 1858, at the siege of Kotah and ils capture hy assault,
defeat of the GwaUor rebels at Kotaria, surprise on and attack of
the rebels at Seckur (Medal).
7 Quarter Master Gil by served in the China war in 1842, and
was present at tne storming of Chinkiangfoo and operations
before Nankin (Medal).

13 Lieut. Spiller commanded a Company of the 65th Regt. during the war of 1863-65 in Xew Zealand, and was present
at the attack on the workirig party at Williamson's Clearing, relief of Pokeno Picquet (mentioned in dispatches), storming
and capture of Pah at Rangiriri, actions at. Ransiawhia and Hnirini, and attack ar.d capture of Pah at Orakau.
14 Lieut. Bax served in the New Zealand war of 1863-64 and was present at the storming and capture of Orakau.
15 Biisign Acheson served in New Zealand during the wars of 1860-61 and 1863-6.'i, and was present at the relief of and
repulse of the night attack on Ko. 3 Redouht on 23rd Jan. 1861, and lu every action In which the 6Sth Regt. was engaged
in the war of 1860-61.
