84 Lieut.Colonel Harding served in the Peninsula with the 5tli Regt. from Augu.<!t 1812, to
the end of that war in 1814, including the retreat from Burgos and Madrid, battle of Vittoria,
blockade of Pampeluna, battles of the Pyrenees from the 2Gth to the 29th July, the Nivelle and
the Nive (from Otli to 13th Dec.); passage of tlie Gave d'Oleron battle of Orthes, actions of Vic
Bigorre and Tarbes, and battle of Toulouse.
85 Lt.Colouel Hardy served with the 58th Regiment in New Zealand, and was present at the
attack and repidse of the hostile natives on the settlement and stockades of Wanganui, 19th
May, and action of the 19th July 184 7.
8G Lt.Colonel Harries served with the 3rd Regt. the Eastern campaign of 1854, including
the battles of Alma, Balaklava, and Inkcrman (severely woundedj, and siege of Sebastopol
(Medal and Clasps, Brevet Lt.Colonel, Knight of t!ie Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the Medjidie,
and Turkish Medal).
87 Lord George Lennox served in the 9th Lancers and 15th Hussars during the campaigns of
1819, 13 and 14 in the Peninsula; was present at the affair of Alorales de Tore, battle of
Vittoria, blockade of Pampelum, and battle of the Pyrenees, and served as Aide de Camp to
tl c Duke of Wellington at the battles of Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, and Toulouse, from which last
place he brought home the despatches. Also served as Aide do Camp to the Duke of Welling¬
ton in the campaign of 1815 including Ihe action at Qnatre Bras, battle of \Vaterloo, and
occupation ol' Paris. Has received the War Medal with si.t Clasps, imd the Waterloo Medal.
88 Lieut.Colonel John Christopher Harrison served at the siege of Copenhagen and capture
of the Danish fleet in 1807 ; the campaign of Martinique, siege and captui'c of Fort Bourbon in
1809. Served afterwards in the Peninsula and was present at the actions of Redinha and Canipo
Mayor, siege and capture of Olivenca, siege of Badajoz in 1811, battle of Albnhera (severely
wounded), siege and capture of Ciudad Rodrigo, siege and storming of Badajoz (received three
severe wounds on the grand breach of San Trinidad). He has received the War Medal with four
Clasps, and also the Waterloo Medal.
89 Lt.Colonel Hawkins served with the 1st Battalion Royals the Eastern Campaign of 1854
and up to 3rd July 1855, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, and siey'e of .■^ebastopol
(Medal and Clasps, Brevet Lieut.Colonel, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
90 Lt.Colonel the Honorable C. 11. Hay served with the Scots Fusilier Guards in the Crimea
from -Jnd May 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish
Medal).
91 Lt.Colonel Haygarth served with the Soots Fusilier Guards in the Eastern campaign of
1854 until severely wounded at the battle of Alma—shot through shoulder and thigh (Medal
and Clasp, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
92 Lt.Colonel Ileneage served with the Coldstream Guards in the Crimean campaign from
18th Oct. 1854, including the battles of Balaklava and Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol
(Medal with three Clasps, 5tli Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
92t Lt.Colonel Hibbert served in the 50th R(gt. the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including
the battles of Alma, Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Cla<>ps, Brevet Major,
Sardinian Medal, and 5th Class of the Medjidie).
93 Lt.Colonel Hillier acted as Aide de Camp to Brigadier Cureton in the action of Maharajpore,
29tli Dec. 1843 (Medal); and served as Aide de Camp to the Governor General, with the army
of the Sutlej, and was severely wounded in the action at Moodkee (Medal).
94 Lt.Colonel Holder served with the Scots Fusilier Guards at the siege and fall of Sebastopol
from Nov. 1854 (Medal and Clasp, 5tli Class of the Medjidie, and Tiirliish Medal).
95 Lt.Colonel Holmes served with the 43rd Liyht Infantry in the New Zealand war in 1805.
96 Lt.Colonel E. D. Hunt served with the 9th Lancei-s in the last Punjaub campaign, and was
present at the battles of Chillianwallah and Goojerat (Medul and Clasps). Served the Kastcrn
campaign with the 6th Dragoons, including the battles of Balaklava, Inkerman, and Tchernaya,
and siege and fall of Sobastopol (Medal and Clasps, Sardinian and Turkish Medals, and 5th Class
of tlie Medjidie).
97 Lt.Colonel Hutchins commanded three Companies of the 12th Regt. during the N-. w
Zealand war of 1860-61 (Brevet of Lt.Colonel).
98 Lt.Colonel D. W. G. James served in the campaign in the Southern Mahratta country in
1844 (including the storm and capture of the Fortress of Punella), and part of that in the Con-
can and San-ant Warree country in 1844 and 45. Also in the Kafiir war of 1851-52 (Medal) ;
and with the expedition north of the Orange River in 1852-3.
100 Lt.Colonel Hon. J. S. Jocelyn served with the Scots Fusilier Guards in the Eastern cam¬
paign of 1854 and up to 1 Jidy 1855 including the battles of Alma, Bakiklava, and Iidierman,
sic-e of Sebastopol, and sortie of 26th Oct. (Medal and Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor,
5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
101 Licut.Colonel Wm. Fred. Johnston served in the Peninsula in 1814. Was present at the
battles of Quatre Bras and Waterloo, and taking of Peronne.
104 Lieut.Colonel Kingscote served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, as Aide-de-Camp to
Lord Raglan, includins the battles of Alma, Balaklava, and Inkerman, and siege of Sebastopol
(Medal and Clasps, CB., and Turkish Medal).
105 Lt.Colonel Learmonth served with the 17th Lancers in the Eastern campaign of 1854-55
(Medal and Clasp for Sebastopol, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Also in the
Indian campaign of 1857-68 (Medal).
