1 Mr. R. J. G. Hurford served with the ICth Lancers during tl;a campaign in Af1^hanist<an under Lord Keane,
including the siege anil capture of Ghuznee (Medal). He was also in the slm on iit Maliaraipore, iflth Dec. 184.1 (Medal).
Served with the 9th Lancers at Sobraon (Medal); also in the Punjaub campaign of 1848-40, including the passage of the
Cheuab at Ramnnegur, and battles of CbiUianwallah and Gr.ojerat (Medal with two Clasps). Served in 1857 at the siege
andi'aplure of Delhi, actions of Boolundshur and Allighur, battle of Agra, and reliefs of I^ckiiow and Cawnpore (Medal
with two Clasps).
2 Mr. Collins served the Eastern Campaign of 1854-55 in the 6th Drugoons, including the buttles of Balaklava and
Inkerman, siege aud fall of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, aTid Turksh Medal).
3 Mr. Gloag served with the 11th Hussars the Eastern campaign of 1854-65, including the affair of Bulganak, battles of Alma,
Balaldava, Inkennan, and Tcheniaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of
the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
4 Mr. Tiiiimas Hurford served »ith the 13th Lancers in the Crimea, and has the Medal with Clasp for Sebastopol, and the
Turkish Medal.
5 Mr. Gardiner served with the 7fh Dragoon Guards throughout the Kaffir war of 1840-J (Medal).
0 Mr. Thacker served iii the 12th Lancers in the Kaffir war of 1851-53 (Medal).
