I 3 Major Roche served in the 34th Regt. in the Crimea from 9th Dec. 1854 (Medal and Clasp for Sclastopol, and Turkisli
'Medal). Also in the Indian campaign in 1857-58, including the actions of tlie 20tli, 27th, and 28th Nov. 1857 at Cawn-
ore (Medal).
6 Major Benson served in the Peninsula from July 1812 to the end of the war, including the battles of Viltoria, tho
*Pyrene99 (wounded in the arm), Pampeluna, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, and Toulouse, and has received the War Medal
'with five Clasps. Served also in the American war, and was severely wounded in the right breast by a ritle-ball at
Plattsburgh. Served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, and siege of Sebas¬
topol (Medal and Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
7 Major Wethered served in tlie Eastern campaign of 18D4, including the battle of Alma (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish
Medal).
8 Major Feneran served the campaign of 1814 in Holland; also that of 1815, including the battle of Waterloo,
10 Major Fair served with the 44th in the retreat from Cabool, and was taken prisoner at GunUamuck after receiving
four wounds. He served with the 50th at the battle of Punniar (Medal), and the campaign on the Sutlej (Medal and
three Clasps), including the battles of Moodkee, Ferozeshah, Aliwal, and Sobraon.
12 Major Hall served with the 14th Regt. at the siege and fall of Sebaslopol (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
13 Major Hawker served with the 21st Fusiliers the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, Including the battles of Alma,
Balaklava, and Inkerman, siege and fall of Sebastopol, and expedition to Kinbourn (Modal and four Clasps, and Turkish
Medal).
14 Miijor Travers served with the 31st Rcgt. in the Crimea from 22nd May 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebag.

5 Qr.Master Piper served with the Rifle Brigade throughout the Eastern Campaign of l»54-55, including the battle of
Alma and siege of Sebastopol (Medal and two Clasps, and Turkish Medal). Served with the Battalion through the whole
Of its services in the suppression of the Indian Mutiny, including the capture of Lucknow, and numerous alfairs during
the Oude campaign (Medal and Clasp).
6 Qr.Master J. Woloney served with the 55th Regt. on the China expedition, and was present at the capture of Amoy
and Chusan and storming of Chinkiangfoo (Medal).
7 Qr.Master Burke served in the 22nd Regt. in the campaign in the Southern Mahratia country in 1844 and 1845, and was
present at the storm of the Pettahson 27th Nov., and of the forts of Panuliaand Powngliur.

• 10 Quarter Master M'Kay served with the Expedition against the Kaffir Chief Tola in June 1843. Also during the Kaffir
War of 1846-47 including the affairs at the Beka and Trumpeter's Drift Hill, the combined attack on Fort Peddie by the
T'SIambie and Gaika Tribeswhen the enemy were repulsed with the loss of upwards of 20O killed, and the scouring of the
Amatola Mountains for the first time and the enemy expelled (Medal). Has also the Medal for Meritorious Service.
U Quarter Master Connor served with the 22nd Regt. the campaign of 1842-4.1 in Scinde, including the battles of
Meeaiiee and Hyderabad (Medal;. Also the campaign of 1844-45 in the Southern Mahratta country, including the takini?
of Punella and Pownghur. Served with the 82nd Regt. in the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including Windham's opera-
