3 Major Edwards and Captain Reid served in the Punjaub campaign of 1848-49( Medal); served also with the Flank Companies 98th Regt, in
the force under Sir Colin Campbell, at the forcing of the Koliat Pass in Feb. 18.')0. Served in the Peshawur Expeditionary force on the
Kuzolzie frontier under Sir Sydney Cotton in April and May 1356, and at the affail- witti the Hindostanee fanatics on the hei,$ht8 of
Sultana on the 4tb May.
4 Major Cleveland served in the Punjaub campaign of 1848-19 (Medal). Served agaiust the Hill Tribes on the Peshawur frontier in
1851-52, Also in the Pesbawur Expeditionary force on the Euzofzie frontier under Sir Sydney Cotton in April and May 1858, and at
the alTair with the Hindoslanee fanatics on the heights of Sultana on the 4th May. Raised and organized a levy in 1858 and was actively
employed on the frontier of Nepaul from April to Dee, IS-'iO (twicethanked by Government, Medal, and Brevet of Major),
G Captains Lloyti and Stvinford served with the force under Br, tren. Chamberlain attached to the Gth Punjaiib
Infantry against the Mahsood Wuzevecs during March, April and May IBiiO, and were present at the action of Poluseen,
forcing the UurrarraU Pass, takini,^ and burning of their stronghold Mjtkin, and various minor afiairs.
8 Cai)tain Eishop served wi;li the Kxpeditionary force in Btirmah in lH,").i. Was attached to the tilth Regt. during the
Indian Mutiny in 1S57, and present at the deteiice of Cawnpore under General Windliain ; at the charge on the
ri'inemy's guns 28th Nov. he re-cued the body of Colonel Wilson (wounded) ; also present at the defeat of the Gwalior
Contingent, and at the action of Kala Xuddee. Served with the Expeditionary f.nxe from Delhi against Tantia Topee
(Medal),
y Lieut, Wolseley served with (lie 84LU Ilfgt. during the latter part of the Indian Mutiny, and was engaged in all the
minor affairs in tlie Shahabart District under Sir John Doujlas (Mtdalj.
10 Major Leigh served as Brigaile Maj ir to the force under Co'oncl O'Connor, Governor of the Gambia, which stormed
and destroyed the strongly fttockadetl j\rm'lini:o town of Sabajce on the 1st June 1S58.

klava, expedition to Kevtch and Ycnikale, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and fJlasps, and Turkish Medal). Served

attack on the fort of Rooyah, action at Aliygnnge, and capture of Bareilly (Medal and Clasp).
