1 Lt.Colonel Burne served in the KatBr war of 1851-53 (Medal), including the operations in the Amatolas Fish Eivcr
■W'aterkloof, and Trans-Kei exiieditions. '
3 Major Keeve served in the Kaffir war of 1851-3 (Modal) as Adjutant 73rd Regt., and as Field Adjutant to Col. Evre'g
division; served as Brigade JIajor at the affair of the Berea; was several times mentioned in General Orders" and
despiitches.
4 Captain Barnes served as Lieut, and Adj. in Major Hogg's Battalion of Native Infantry in the Kaffir war of 1816-47 ; was present in
several engagements, accompanied the expedition into the Tambookie eountty in August, and that over the Kei in Dec. IS46. Served with
the 73rd Regt. In the Kaffir war in 1851 (Medal). Served also in the Indian Mutiny Campaign, including the operations in the Gorrickpore
District in 1858, and on the Nepaul frontier in 1859(Medal).
6 Capt.ain Waugh served as Ailjulant of the .Will Regl. in the Crimea from 19tli May 1B55, including the tiegeand fall
of Sebastopol, attacks of the Redan on the ]8th June (with fhc storming column) and 8th September, bombardment and
surrender of Kiiibouni (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served also at the Waitara, New Zealand, in the operations
against the rtbtl Maories at Tcira Pah during the War in 1861.
7 Lieut. Sharp served in the Indian mutiny campaign in 1858-59, including the operations in the Shahabad District and
on the Nepaul frontier (Medal).
9 Quarter Master Scott served during the Kaffir war of 1850-53 (Medal) and was present in all the principal actions in
Kaffirland ; also at the battle of Berea—wounded. Served also in the India campaign of 1858-59 (Medal),
10 Surgeon Ileam.—For War Senices sec " Medical Department."
