2 Lt.Colonel Cutbill served throughout the New Zealand war of 1863-66, took part in the expedition to the
Thames and the Waikato, and was present at the taking of Orakau and at the engagement of Omaranui (Medal).

the Legion of Honour, 4th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal).
' Major Smith served ill the Soudan Expedition in 1B84 with the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers, and was
present in the engagements at El Teb ana Temai (Medal with Clasp, 4th Class of the Medjidie, and Khedive's Star).
'" Major Wilbraham and Captains Kincaid and Harnard served with the ist Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers in the
Egyptian war of 18S2, and were present at the battle ot Tel-el-Kebir (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star).
" Captain Blood served with the 1st Battalion Irish Fusiliers in the Egj-ptian war of 18S2, and was present at
