' Lt.General Guise served with tbe
90th Light Inlaiury in the Cr?mea
from 5th to 24th Dec. 1854, moludinf;
the siege of Sebastopol (Medal with
Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Also in
the Indian campaign, including the
siege and capture of Lucknow, where
he led the attack upon the Secunder-
bagh (mentioned in despatches, Vic¬
toria Cross,Brevet of Lt. Colonel,Medal
with Clasp, and a year's service): re¬
ceived the i"*r for conspicuous gal¬
lantry in action on the i6th and 17th
November 1E57 at Lucknow. Elected
by the officers of the regiment.
Captain Bulkley served in the
Burmese Expedition in 1888-89 with
the 2nd Battalion Leicestershire Regi¬
ment in the Upper Burma Field Force
(Medal with Clasp).
™ Lieut. Glossup served in the Bur¬
mese Expedition in iS£8 with the
Chin Frontier Field Force—severely
wounded (Medal with Clasp).
'■" Lieut. Pearson served in the Bur¬
mese Expedition in 1888-89 with 2nd
Battalion Leicestershire Regiment in
the Upper Burma Field Force (Medal
with Claspi).
" Captain Garrard served in the
Afghan war in i8-S-79,andwas 1 res«nt.
at the capture of Ali Musjid (Medal
with Clasp).
