Regimen t throughout the Abyssinian
campaign of 1867-68, and was present
at the storming and capture of Mag-
dala (Medal).
' Captain FiUiter served throughout
the Ashanti war of 1873-74. Was sent
as Special Commissioner to King
Solomon of Domonassie and raised
over 500 Native Levies, and com¬
manded a portion of them in the en¬
gagements of the 27th Oct, (slightly
wounded) and 3rd November near
Dunquah. On the arrival of the
European Troops was appointed
Transport Officer to the Ritle Bri¬
gade; and,from airival at Fommanah
acted as Adjutant of the 2nd West
India Regiment (Medal with Clasp).
