" Captain Odell was employed witib
the Commissariat Dei)artmcntduring
the Zulu war of 1879. Was Transporft
Officer to the Head Quarters Staff
under Sir Garnet Wolseley duringthc-
operations against Sekukuni,and was
present at the capture of the strong¬
hold (Medal with Clasp).
^"Captain Amyatt-Burney nerved
with the King's Dragoon Guards in
the Zulu war of 1870, and took part
in the capture of King Cetywayo
(Medal with Clasp).
2' Captain Manscl served in the
Soudan Expedition in 1884 under Sii-
Gerald Graham, and was [n-escnt in
the engagements at El Teb andTemai
(Medal with Clas-p, and IChcdive's
Star).
''- Lieut. Hanbury-Williams served
in the Egyptian war of 1S82 as Aide
de Camp to Sir E. Hamlej', Com¬
manding the 2nd Division, and was
present at the battle of Tel-el-Keliir
—horse shot (mentioned in de¬
spatches. Modal with Clasj), sthClass
of the Medjidio, and Khedive's Star).
^5 Lieut. Hodson served with the-
ist Battalion South StalTordshii-e
Regiment in the Egyptian wnx of
1S82, and was present in the recon¬
naissance in force from Alexandria
on the 5th August (Medal, and
I Khedive's Star).
