over 500 Native Levies, and com¬
manded a portion of them in the en¬
gagements of the 27th Oct, (slightly
wounded) and 3rd November near
Dunquah. On the arrival of the
European Troops was appointed
Transport Officer to the Rifie Bri¬
gade ;and,from arrival at Fommanah
acted as Adjutant of the 2nd West
India Regiment (Medal with Clasp).
