1 General Sealy served the campaign of i838-39inAfrghanistan, including the storm and capture of Ghuznea
(Medal). Served in Persia in 1857 (Medal with Clasp). Relief of Kolapore. Attack on insurgent Bheels at Duba-
bunree and Ambapawnee on nth April 1858. Operations in the Santpore Hills in 1858 in command of Mountain Train
and Left Column of attack (Medal, and Brevet of Major).
' Sir Arnold Kemball served the campaign of 1838-39 in Affghanistan, including the siege and capture of Ghuznee
(Medal). Campaign of 1857 in Persia (Medal with Clasp, CB., and Brevet of Major). The Governor General ef
India stated in his notification of the i8th June 1857 that "the valuable assistance afforded on every occasion of
difficulty and danger, and especially in the brilhant expedition against Ahwaz, by Captain Kemball had beea
highly commended by Sir James Outram and merited the unqualified approbation and the hearty thanks of the
Governor General in Council."

1857-58 including the action with insurgent Bheels in Feb. 1858; and in 1858-59, with the Central India Field Forco
under Sir Hugh Rose. Subsequently with the Okamundel and Kattiwar Field Force and was present at the storm¬
ing of the Ubhpoora Fort in the Burda Hills on 18th Dec. 1859 (Medal).
' Colonel Le Cocq served with the Persian expedition of 1856-57 and was present at the storm and capture of
Reshire, surrender of Bushire, battle of Kooshab, and bombardment of Mohumrah (Medal with Clasp). Served
also in suppression of the Indian mutiny, including Kotah, Kotahkeserai, Gwalior, Koonrai, and pursuit of Tantia
Topee (mentioned in despatch. Medal with Clasp).
