315 Doctor J. S. Conyers served in the Ashanti wa.r of 1S73-74, including the battle of Amoafal, attack aud
capture of Becquah, battle of Ordahsu and capture of Coomassie (Medal with Clasp).
3>o Dr. M'Naiuara was in medical charge of the troops (detachments of Royal Artillery and loth Foot) sent into
the Native State of Sunghie Ujong, Malay Peninsula, in 1874 ; and was present at the attack and captare of the
Kapayan stockades.
31' Mr. Bushe served with Colonel Baker Russell's Column during the latter part of the Zulu war of 1879 (Medal
with Clasp).
"» Mr. B. B. Connolly served during the Franco-German war of 1870-71, and was present at the battle of Beaumont,
battle of and capitulation of Sedan (German Steel War Medal). Served throughout the campaign against the
Jowaki Afreedees in 1877-78 ,Medal with Clasp). Served as Secretary and Statistical Officer to the Principal
Medical Officer, Lines of Communication and Base, in the Zulu war of 1879 and in the subseiiuent operations
against Sekukuni (Medal).
313 Mr. Thomsett served in the Afghan war of 1878-79, and had medical charge of the Divisional Field Hospital at
Thull. Accompanied the expedition into the Khost country and was present in thrf engagement at Mnttoou (Medal).
320 Mr. W. S. Pratt served as Assistant Surgeon with the Armee du Rhin under Marshal Bazaine in the i'ranco-
Germau war of 1870-71, and was present at the actiousof Gravelotte and St. Privat. Was driven into Metz with
the French Army, and remained durmg the siege and until the surrender of the fortress from starvation.
322 Mr. G. P. Turner served with the 51st Light Infantry in the Jowaki campaign in 1877 (Medal with Clasp).
323 Doctor Morris served in the Afghan war, in 1878-79 with the Koorum Field Force, and in 1879-80 with the
Cibul Field Force. Was present in the engagement at Charasiab and in the actions around Cabul in December
1879, including the defence of Sherpore. Was in medical charge of the 92nd Highlanders in the engagement at
Charasiab in April 1880 (mentioned in despatches, Medal with two Clasps).
321 Mr. levers served in the Afghan war of 1878-79, first with the Peahawur Valley Field Force including the
first Bazar Valley Expedition, and afterwards with the Koorum Force under Major General Watson 'Medal).
32= Mr. Wallis served in the Zulu war of 1879, and in the subsequent operations against Sqkukuni including the
storming of the stronghold (Medal with Clasp).
