11 Major Kellett served in the Hazara Expedition in 1888 with the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment (Medal
with Clasp).
18 Captain Grogan served in the South African war, taking part in the operations in the Orange Free State (March
to May 1900) ; in the Transvaal, east of Pretoria (Aug. to 29th Nov.) including actions at Belfast (26th and 27th Aug.)
and Lydenburg (5th to 8th Sept.) ; in the Orange River Colony, including actions at Bethlehem (6th and 7th July)
and Wittebergen (1st to 29th July); and in Cape Colony, south of Orange River, 1900, including actions at Coles-
berg (15th Jan. to 12th Feb.).
19 Captain Milner served in the campaigu on the North West Frontier of India with the Tirah Expeditionary
Force (Medal with Clasp). Served in the South African war, taking part in the operations in the Orange Free State
(March to May 1903) ; in the Transvaal, east of Pretoria (Oct. to 29th Nov.); in the Orange River Colony, including
actions at Bethlehem (6th and 7th July) and Wittebergen (1st to 29th July) — severely wounded; and in Cape Colony,
south of Orange River, 1900, including actions at Colesberg (15th Jan. to 12th Feb.).
30 Captain Daniell served in the campaign on the North West Frontier of India in 1897-98, and tiok part in the
operations on the Samana Range (Medal with two Clasps). Served in the South African war, taking part in the
operations in the Orange Free State (March to May 1900); in the Transvaal, east of Pretoria (Aug. to 29th Nov.),
including actions at Belfast (26th and 27th Aug.) and Lydenburg (5th to 8th Sept.); in the Orange River Colony,
including actions at Bethlehem (6th and 7th July) and Wittebergen (1st to 29th July) ; and Cape Colony, south of
Orange River, 1900, including actions at Colesberg (15th Jan. to 12th Feb.).
21 Captain White and Major Panter-Downes served in the South African war, taking part in the operations in the
