6 Lt.Colonel Bayley served with the expedition up the Gambia in 1891-92 (Medal with Clasp). Served with the
expedition to Ashanti under Sir Francis Scott in 1895 iBrevet of Lt.Colonel, Star).
7 Lt.Colonel Marshall served wich the expedition to the Tambaka Country, on the West Coast of Africa, in
1892, including the capture of Tanibi (mentioned in despatches) ; and with the expedition to the Gambia in 1892,
including the capture of Toniataba (mentioned in despatches, Brevet of Major, Medal with Clasp). Served with
the expedition to Ashanti under Sir Francis Scott in 1895 (Star).
8 Lt.Colonel Egerton served in the Commissariat Department in the Zulu war of 1879 and in the subsequent
operations against Sekukuni (Medal with Clasp). Served in the Boer war of 1880-81; was present with the 94th
Regiment in the engagement at Bronkhorst Spruit in the Commissariat and Transport Department— wounded
(mentioned in despatches, promoted 2nd Lieutenant) , and afterwards took part in the defence of Pretoria.
9 Lt.Colonel Bourke served with the expedition to the Tambaka Countryin 1892 and was present at the capture
of Tambi (Medal with Clasp) ; and in the operations against the Sofas, West Coast of Africa, in 1 893-94 (mentioned
in despatches, DSO. and Clasp).
10 Major Norris served with the expedition to the Tambaka Country, on the West Coast of Africa, in 1892,.
including the capture of Tambi (DSO. and Medal with Clasp).
II Major Lowry served with the Ashanti Expedition under Sir Francis Scott in 1895-96 (Star).
12 Major Dalrymple Hay served in the Boer war of 1881, and took part in the defence of Potchefstroom.
16 Major Westmorland served with the expedition to the Gambia against Fodey Silah in 1894 with the 1st
Battalion West India Regiment (mentioned iD despatches, Medal with Clasp).
17 Captain Tredgdld served with the expedition to the Tambaka Country in 1892 including the capture of Tambi
