The King's Own Scottish Borderers. 268b
the engagement at Pan.ikora (Medal with Clasp). Served in the campaign en the North West Frontier of India
under Sir William. Lockhart in 1897-98 with the Tirah Expeditionary Force with the 2nd Battalion King's Own
Scottish Borderers, and was present in the engagement at Dargai on the iSth October, at the forcing of the Sam-
pagha and Arhanga Passes, and in the operations in the Dwatoi country and in the Bara Valley (mentioned in
despatches, two Clasps).
43 Lieut. Coke served with the Chitral Relief Force under Sir Robert Low in 1805 with the 2nd Battalion King's
Own Scottish Borderers, including the stcrming of the Malakand Pass — severely wounded (Medal wilh Clasp).
