Boree Valley in the Peshawur district in November 1853 (Medal with Clasp).
5 Lt. Colonel Curteis served in the Burmese Expedition in 1887-89 with the 2nd Battalion Cheshire Regiment
(Medal with Clasp).
6 Lt. Colonel Lewis served in the Zulu war in 1S79, and was present in the engagement at Inyezane and at
Ekowe during the investment — wounded (Medal with Clasp). Served in the operations in the Soudan in 1S88
including the engagement at Gemaizah (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star) ; and in the operations in 1888
including the engagement at Argain (3rd Class of the Medjidie). S. rved with the Donu'Ola Expeditionary Force
under Sir Herbert Kitchener in 189*1 in command of the 1st Infantry Brigade, including the engagement at
Firket and the ooerations at Hafir (mentioned in despatches, Brevet of Lt.Colonel, Khedive's Medal with two
Clasps).

II Major Lamb served with the Burmese Expedition in 1887-89 (Medal with Clasp), and with the Chin
Lushai Expeditionary Force in 1889-90 (Clasp ).

16 Captain White served with the Burmese Expedition iu 1887-S9 (Medal with Clasp) j and with the Chin-Lushai

17 Captain Hussey-Walsh served in the Burmese campaign in 1887-89 with the Sawlapaw Expedition, Eastern
Karenni (Medal with Clasp) ; with the Chin Lushai Expeditionary Force iu 1889-90 (Clasp) ; and with the
Wuntho Field Force in 1891 as Intelligence Officer (Clasp).
18 Captain Clifford served with the Karen Expedition in 18S8-89 as Transport Officer to the Lower Burma
Column (Medal with Clasp).
