Dawson, M. S. (Captain Notts. Yeomanry) (Hon. Major in Army), served in South African war in 1899-1902
with Imperial Yeomanry ; took part in operations in Orange Free State April and May 1900 ; in Orange River
Colony May and June 1900, including action at Lindley — severely wounded ; and in Cape Colony May 1901 to
31st May 1902.
De la Pryme, P. C. (Captain Army Service Corps), served in South African war in 1901-02, and took part in
operations in Capo Colony, Orange River Colony, and Transvaal (Queen's Medal with five Clasps).
Dent, H. H. C. (Major 3rd North Mid. Field Ambulance, R.A.M.C), served as Civil Surgeon in South African
war in 1900-1901 ; took part in operations in Orange Free State Feb. to May 1900, including actions at Paarde-
berg, 17th to 26th Feb., and Poplar Grove ; and in Cape Colony 30th Nov. 1900 to Jan 1001 (Queen's Medal
with two Clasps).
Depiro D'Amico, I. (Captain Liverpool Regiment), served in South African war in 7899-1900; took part in
operations in Natal 1899, including actions at Rietfontein and Lombard's Kop ; was present in defence of Lady-
smith ; operations in Natal Mar. to June 1900; and in Transvaal, including action at Belfast 26th and 27th Aug.
(Queen's Medal with three Clasps).
