1 Major General Stevenson served in the Egyptian war of 18S2 in command ot the 1st Battalion Roynl
Irish Fusiliers, and was present at the battle of Tel-el- Keliir (mentioned in despatches, OB., Medal with Clasp,
and Khedive's Star).
♦ Lt.Colonel Davison served in the Soudan Expedition in 18S4 with the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers, and was
present in the engagements at El Teb and Temai, the relief of Tokar, and affair at Tamanieh (Medal with Clasp,
and Khedive's Star). Served in the South African war in 1899-1900, and was present in the engagement at Dundee
(wounded), and at the siege of Ladysmith; took part in the operations in Natal, 1899, including action at Lom-
bard's Kop.
5 Lt.Colonel Plomer served with the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers in the Soudan Expedition in 1884. and
was present in the engagements at El Teb and Temai, the relief of Tokar, and the affair at Tamanieb (Medal
with Clasp, and Khedive's Star).
12 Major Goldschmidt served in the South African war with the 1st Battalion Welsh Regiment in 1900
(mentioned in despatches, Medal with three Clasps).
13 Major Sandys served in operations on the North West Frontier of India in 1897-98 with the Trial Expe-
ditionary Force, and in operations in the Bara Valley 7-14 Dec. 97 (Medal with two Clasps).
H Colonel O'Leary served with the second Miranzai Expedition ini89i as Transport Officer (Medal with Clasp) ;
and with the Isazai Expedition in 1892 as Transport Officer. Served with the Chitral Relief Force under Sir
Robert Low in 1895 as Assistant Superintendent of Army Signalling, including the engagement at Sado, on
the Panjkora River— slightly wounded (mentioned in despatches. Brevet of Major, Medal with Clasp).
16 Major Pike served in the South African war with the 1st Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers, and took part in the
operations in Natal, 1899, including the action at Talana, 29th Oct. (severely wounded).
" Major Chnrcher served with the Chitral Relief Force under Sir Robert Low in :89s as Transport Officer
2nd Brigade (Medal with Clasp). Served in the campaign in the Soudan under Sir Herbert Kitchener in 1898,
and was present at the battle of Khartoum (mentioned in despatches, Brevet of Major), and in the subsequent
operations (British Medal, and Khedive's Medal with Clasp). Served in the South African war wit,h the 1st
Bittalion Royal Irish Fusiliers, and took part in the operations in Natal, 1899, including the actions at Talana, 29th
Oct., and Lombard's Kop, 30th Oct., and the relief of Ladysmith, including the action of 6th Jan. 1900.
