I Sir Roger Palmer served in the Eastern campaign of 1854, and up to 26th August 1S55 with the nth Hussar;
including the affair of Bulganak, battles of Alma, Balaklava, and Inkerman, and siege of Sehastopol (Medal with four
Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
i Lt.Colonel Jones served with the Egyptian Frontier Field Force in 1885-86, and was present in the engagement at
Giniss in command of the escort to the General Officer Commanding (Medal, and Khedive's Star). Served in South
Afiican war in 1901-02, and took part in operations in Transvaal April to May 1902, and in Orange River Colony
Feb. to April and May 1902 (mentioned in despatches, Medal with four Clasps).
