1 Major Fernandez served in the Crimean campaign of 1354-56 in charge of Medical Stores at Balaklava (Meda
with Clasp for Sebastopol, and Turkish Medal). Served in China at the taking of Canton and Taku Forts (Meda
with Clasp for Canton).
2 Captain Mossman served throughout the Crimean campaign from the 27th Oct. 1854, including the siege and
fall of Sebastopol (Crimean and Turkish Medals). Served through the second and third China Wars of 1857-60,
including the capture of Canton, expedition to the White Cloud Mountains, capture of the Taku Forts, and sur-
render of Pekin (Medal with two Clasps).
3 Major D. Pringle served in the Egyptian war of i38:, and was present at the battle of Tel-el-Kebir (honorary rank
of Captain, Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star).
