Adjutant of the West African Regiment from 27th Sept. to 29th Dec. 1399 (Medal with Clasp). Served in the
South African war in 1399-1900, and was present at the relief of Ladysmith, including tne engagements at Vaal
Krantz ar. J Pieter's Hill.
Captain Willis served in the Soudan campaign under Sir Herbert Kitchener in i3;3, and was present at the
battle of Khartoum (British Medal, and Khedive's Medal with Clasp).
